The primary reason is the potentially nuclear conflict between the US and Russia.

The second factor mentioned was the conflict in Ukraine has broken international cooperation over combating climate change.

The third factor mentioned was bio labs, and we know there are/were at least 23 bio labs working with pathogens in Ukraine.

I don't know who is on the Nobel Peace Prize committee. I just look at the fact that they gave it to Obama before he had done anything. The only logical reason for giving it to him was because he was the first Black American president, and he had socialist credentials. Other than that, he had no qualifications.

Bush foolishly brought down the Saddam Hussein regime, which provided a counterbalance to the Iranian terrorist government. That was a major error. Pushing Hussein out of Kuwait was necessary because the Iraqi dictator was looking to gain control over more of the oil market.

 

The Mid-East is, from a Western standpoint, all about oil.
