    For heart surgery? Fascinating.

Again you make unsupportable claims based on opinion.

People love to say that "there is no such thing as clean coal".

There is no such thing as "clean solar" or "clean wind power" either. Anything that results in power generation has some negative environmental impact.

Venice has been sinking for centuries. Miami has been sinking for decades.

Sea level has been rising at a steady rate of 3 mm (1/8 inch) per year.

Technically it's been rising for the past twenty-five thousand years. And in that time humans have flourished. The sea level rose 400 feet, the catastrophe already happened before we were ever even glimmer in our parents eyes. and it's because of that our planet can sustain a much higher population.

Agreed. The oceans have been rising since the end of the last ice age with some cycles corresponding to the 10 warming and cooling periods (Medieval, Roman, Minoan, ...) of the Holocene.

Oh look. Robert is wrong again.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Energy_in_Germany

What a surprise. Coal use in Germany is currently slightly down (not up) and will be phased out completely by 2038

Not happening. CO2 levels are up by a whopping 1.2 parts per 10000 in the last 140 years. Calling that runaway is at best disingenuous and at worst hyperbolic

That was just a brief deviation in the path of the Gulf Stream. This is far more serious.

What are you personally noticing that tells you your climate is way out of balance?

What I noticed is that it got colder here about a month early and I am told by my son to expect cold until past 6 months from now.

nope... they are closing pretty rapidly.

    1. More coal plants have closed under Trump than in Obama's ...
      https://www.cnn.com/2019/01/07/politics/pennsylvania-coal-plants-weir-wxc
Jan 07, 2019 · Despite political promises, there's no sign of the coal-powered plant coming back. The Mitchell power plant lies quiet and rusting on the shores of the Monongahela River.

    2. In 2019, expect even less coal in the US – Energy Transition
      https://energytransition.org/2019/01/in-2019-expect-even-less-coal-in-the-us
Jan 25, 2019 · Simply uncompetitive against renewables and cheap fossil gas, that unit and almost every other coal-fired one nationwide, may be nearing the end of the line. Coal use in the US still falling. From its 2007 peak, America’s coal consumption has fallen over 44%. Now at only 691 million short tons (MMst), it’s at the lowest level since 1979.

I began researching the data on greenhouses to see if they get hot due to CO2. All I find are the benefits of Carbon Dioxide as to plants growing much better/faster.

Plants regulate our Carbon Dioxide cycle so it seems we should be very friendly to plants. I can understand the alarmists working to get more plants on Earth yet do not see them bringing that up.

Take a few hours and look at the history of Gulf Stream patterns.
