Bipartisan Lawmakers Preparing Plan to Avert Debt-Ceiling Crisis

We have all become cynical.

 

The days of this is the way it’s always been done is over.

 

So you want to override democracy because you don’t like their approach? Are they doing something illegal? Maybe Biden should meet with McCarthy instead of hiding?

 

Agree, just invoke the 14th and move on.

 

You want to let them ignore the constitution so they can pass things they don’t have the votes for? Something they only do when the president is a dem lol

 

The Republican budget did pass the House. Now the country is waiting on Biden to come to the table instead of hiding.

 

The budget has nothing to do with the debt ceiling.

 

Consider it planning ahead.

 

He's hiding? Biden has cancelled part of his Pacific travel plan to come to the table. What else do you want him to do? What has McCarthy done to come to the table?
