Funny to see the same people in here stating "dont break the law. If you do, don't resist arrest and things like this won't happen" yet when it comes to covid lockdown are all "resist tyranny and dont give in"

 

There are laws stating you must wear a mask and stay indoors? Since when?

So why does the article title need to inform everyone that the deceased was black?

 

Thats in the beginning of the video. He passed out at 4:17. The Ambulance arrives at 10:00 and only then does the officer remove his knee. The guy was passed out for 6 friggen minutes before that officer removed his knee (and all his weight).

 

Cuff his arms behind his back, cuff his legs, put him on his stomach he's not going anywhere. You could even sit him him on the ground and he ain't going nowhere. There is no struggle going on the officer never he has to catch his balance he is just apply force to the man's neck even though his is restrained at that point and again watch the video he even lifts his foot off the ground to apply as much force as possible. Yea if there is a charge for a homicide it will be manslaughter.

What's funny is that when an article posts someone black committing a crime but no picture, rightwingers are quick to ask "why no picture? What is the liberal media trying to hide?"

But when it comes a story like this, you want the race aspect diminished to that of a crumb. That's because you can't defend the cop, so "let's make sure this isn't racial".

Sort of like when a black kid gets accepted to 20 schools, you don't want race mentioned. And it's obvious why....

Of course, he would be alive if he had submitted passively to arrest. That is an irrelevant fact.
He was killed as a result of an excessive use of force.
Resisting arrest does not give police a license to kill.

If there is any residual reflexive Republican support for bad cops it is not shared by many Trump supporters.

 

Minneapolis and other major blue metro areas seem to have a real problem with racist police actions that or just bad police work.

 

Consistency is what's wanted, or better yet, not race baiting in general.

Conversely, one could question why it's necessary to point it out in the first place. I could accuse someone of racism, as evidenced by someone being so shocked that a black kid got accepted to twenty schools they felt the need to broadcast the fact that a black kid got into twenty schools.

They are agents of the law, so they are legal to carry weapons. That said, my issue is that LE have the last say in situations like this. If there was no recording, their word would be auto admitted as legal, and hence they become, judge and jury. I feel the courts give them too much weight in the evidence and adjudication.

 

They all witnessed the unjustified use of deadly force. They had a duty to intervene.

 

So how much will this one cost the taxpayers?

 

Good comparison..about the National Socialist in Warsaw thought so, and so do the National Socialist leading places like NYC and Minneapolis do too...both have policies creating ghettos, and both have this unnecessary death by their Govts.

 

You expected any of those folks to go to jail? By who? The Dem mayors? Or Obama's DOJ? Come on

 

Many believe that only cops should carry guns. That leaves us ordinary citizens at the mercy of cops and criminals.

This was clearly murder !
That cop that was on his neck, should be locked up for a long time.

That Chinese cop, should also be charged as an accessory to murder.

 

Resisting arrest is always a mistake. Effective resistance may even justify the use of deadly force.
In this instance the victim was in no position to effectively resist the officers. Looks like murder.

 

That is another issue that is not germane to this topic.
