So... NOW do all these East-Coast hyperliberals plan to persist in their demands that we continue to chase the unsupportable illusions of "Global Warming"...?

It's snowing. In Tallahassee. Florida...

 

And? Here's the sad news: Global Warming, etc, whatever they want to call it: It's here, it's irreversable. The time to reverse it was when we went from horses to automated vehicles. We missed our opportunity then. Now it's just us living with the planet we've got.

 

The climate changes. We always adapt to it. Whether it's natural, or not, we must. That isn't "sad". It's facts of life. It's like saying getting older is sad. Its pejorative. And incredibly unuseful.

No, when you cut through all the hyperliberal crap, what we see is that, today, a number of large cities in India and China have a terrible smog problem -- even worse than the smog problems we had in the U. S. after World War II up through about the mid-1980's.

BUT, then we got rid of almost all of our smog problems. India and China need to get rid of their smog problems -- without bankrupting everybody else in the world!

Meanwhile -- Carbon Dioxide (the much-dreaded VILLAIN of 'global warming') makes up 0.04% of the Earth's atmosphere. Oh, and it's an organic molecule that is necessary for life to exist on this planet!

OK, hot-chocolate break's over for all you Back-Easterners -- get your butts out there and continue shoveling all that (dare I say it...?) SNOW!

Don't worry about a "lack of brainpower". Morons like Al Gore and a gaggle of "scientists" who are forced to live off of government grants and liberal university money will tell you what to think. In the meantime, I'd suggest that all East Coast liberals stop wasting energy trying to 'think' and put their effort into shoveling all the "global warming" off the sidewalk so they can get to the mailbox and pick up their welfare checks....

 

Same thing happened between Christmas and New Year in 1989 after Hurricane Hugo.. We had a couple feet of snow along the coast from Charleston to Jacksonville.

I remember the old days when Florida's orange crops would occasionally freeze, there was no global warming talk back then.

I remember I once played golf the day after Christmas when other years I might have been shoveling snow and there was no global warming talk then.

I recall a year or two ago a story about some glacier in Canada or Alaska that receded enough to expose some remains of human existence in the area a long time ago. The glacier wasn't there, then it was, and now it's backing off again but the current backing off is attributed to global warming - of course.

Best of all, I recall that almost every time Obama got himself into a jam he would always change the subject to global warming and how it's going to kill all of us. Remember when terrorists killed Americans and Kerry said global warming was more dangerous than Islamic terrorism?

Normal folks call it weather ! We want every penny you make Democrats call it climate change, or global warming , or capitalism. Doesn't matter what they call it the end result is always the same, they can spend your money better then you can.

Yet none of thpse scientists have come up with a single credible "fix". None of them can claim to know the extent of man made issues. None can claim to understand what is actually causing it.

Meh...rapidly intensifying coastal storms happen all of the time...often multiple times per year.

 

Global warming has been happening since the Earth formed and will keep happening naturally, whether we are here or not here. A winter storm approaching the east coast in January is not that big a surprise. In fact even in Florida, the average low temperature in January for places like Tallahassee is barely under 40 degrees F.

Of course I don't expect people who don't seem smart enough to pass 3rd grade science to comprehend that winter means cold.

Mankind does cause some warming -- there's no doubt of that! There, is that what you wanted to hear? But there is no study, no research, no credible contention to support the broad-brush statement that mankind has caused ALL the 'global warming'. BUT, the hyperliberal Left, which is damned-and-determined to push various social agendas based on so-called 'needed changes' in human behavior has decided to use 'global warming' as the fulcrum-and-lever upon which to force major changes in civilization -- based on its socialistic preferences! They use taxation as their 'compliance' method today -- as anyone who buys gasoline in California can tell you....

Want to push for something that makes sense? Push for hydrogen fusion! THAT would be the ultimate answer to our problems -- a non-polluting, endless source of energy. We've been screwing around with Tokamak reactors that were based on old Soviet models from decades ago. If liberal Democrats care so damned much about 'global warming', why didn't any of the Democrat regimes since World War II put any emphasis (with FUNDING) on hydrogen fusion? I've been alive a LONG time, and I didn't see any, even though I spent a fair amount of that time in various research environments at a top-10 U. S. university.... No... it's all about 'command and control' of the masses, and propaganda (along with relentless dumbing-down in public schools for decades) is their best tool.

Hint: this planet saw every kind of change in its atmosphere imaginable during the billions of years that it has been in existence. Do you really think that contemporary 'global warming' observations, contradictory though they are, and based on a smattering of information that amounts to less than a split-second of the Earth's history, provide an indisputably accurate view of our current situation? Now, ignore my question if you like, but at least it isn't a stupid one....

Yeah, Fox, very stupid questions... and you know it. I notice you didn't answer my question. So, the 'trench-warfare' continues....

Helpful hint: if you're one of the unfortunate people who is trying to shovel all the snow out from your front doorway 'back East', try spraying some Pam, WD-40, or silicone spray on the shovel first, and repeat as necessary. It helps to make all that 'global warming' accumulation that bogs you down easier to get rid of. Also, breathe through your nose, not your mouth, because you'll be at it for a good, long while and you don't want to exhaust yourself....
