If Putin did actually try to take Kiev, the USA should launch a pre-emptive nuclear strike upon Moscow and the rest of Russia.

U.S. intelligence veterans took the unusual step of sending this Aug. 30 memo to German Chancellor Merkel challenging the reliability of Ukrainian and U.S. media claims about a Russian “invasion.”

"...You need to know, for example, that accusations of a major Russian “invasion” of Ukraine appear not to be supported by reliable intelligence. Rather, the “intelligence” seems to be of the same dubious, politically “fixed” kind used 12 years ago to “justify” the U.S.-led attack on Iraq. We saw no credible evidence of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq then; we see no credible evidence of a Russian invasion now..."

"...In our view, you should be appropriately suspicious of charges made by the U.S. State Department and NATO officials alleging a Russian invasion of Ukraine...."

"...Hopefully, your advisers have reminded you of NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen’s checkered record for credibility. It appears to us that Rasmussen’s speeches continue to be drafted by Washington. .."

"...Largely because of the growing prominence of, and apparent reliance on, intelligence we believe to be spurious, we think the possibility of hostilities escalating beyond the borders of Ukraine has increased significantly over the past several days. More important, we believe that this likelihood can be avoided, depending on the degree of judicious skepticism you and other European leaders bring to the NATO summit next week..."

"...Although President Vladimir Putin has until now showed considerable reserve on the conflict in the Ukraine, it behooves us to remember that Russia, too, can “shock and awe.” In our view, if there is the slightest chance of that kind of thing eventually happening to Europe because of Ukraine, sober-minded leaders need to think this through very carefully..."

"...The conventional wisdom promoted by Kiev just a few weeks ago was that Ukrainian forces had the upper hand in fighting the anti-coup federalists in southeastern Ukraine, in what was largely portrayed as a mop-up operation. But that picture of the offensive originated almost solely from official government sources in Kiev..."

"...At about this time, sources on the ground began to report a string of successful attacks by the anti-coup federalists against government forces. According to these sources, it was the government army that was starting to take heavy casualties and lose ground, largely because of ineptitude and poor leadership. Ten days later, as they became encircled and/or retreated, a ready-made excuse for this was to be found in the “Russian invasion.” That is precisely when the fuzzy photos were released by NATO and reporters like the New York Times’ Michael Gordon were set loose to spread the word that “the Russians are coming.”

Putin knows it won't. Ukraine is doomed with its rights and freedoms being crushed under Russian tank tracks. The new Cold War has begun :(

I refuse to waste any more of my valuable time educating these people. They are comfortable to continue grazing on the rubbish. They have been warned about the effects that the arrogance in Washington will cause. I have no more compassion left for them. They will be completely unprepared and will think they can take what prepared people have worked for. That mistake will be to their own demise.

Now it's clear, there are no Russia regular army in Ukraine. Russian and Ukrainian guys fight on both sides. They voluntarily kill each other. All the enemies of Ukraine applauded.

Significant interview with leaders of Battalion Azov and Aydar is present. They are veterans of 1980s Afgan war. Yesterday they withdrew their units from Mariupol. Today they are telling the truth. According to them on the other side are fighting their former friends and Afgan war veterans from Donbass. They do not want to fight any more, they are ready to talk. They say that the Ukrainian government confronts and kills ordinary Ukrainians. Ukrainian government throws and kills volunteer battalions of the National Guard on the East. Oligarh Ukrainian Goverment lying and betraying ordinary people.

Very informative interview, if you can understand Russian.

I loved the phrase. "If we go to Europe, Russia is our enemy? If we go to Russia, Europe is our enemy? And if we are not going anywhere, they are both our enemies? And why not friends?"

No-one outside of Ukraine cares if the Ukraine joins Russia, if they want to. It's being 'forced' to join against their will which we have a problem with.

    LOL
Seems to me the Absurd & Suicidal musings of a Fascist Ideoloque who feels himself
.................................................cornered, as he sees his malignant plans go awry

Putin has absolutely no desire to move on Kiev.

He may move into East Ukraine depending on the way the situation develops there
But he will not move on Kiev. He will allow that part of Ukraine to fester & become
an the Anvil around the neck of the US NWO Cabal. - The Criminals running the USA
created the problem there, & these psychopaths will be left with the costly task of dealing with it

& depending how these Criminals respond - Do not be surprised if Russia does not
Pre-empt your Pre-emption - The Russian finger is at present a lot closer to the button
than you Sheeple fools seem to realize - They feel vulnerable & threatened & realize
that a Massive Pre-emption may be the only way to redress the present imbalance

Don't be ridiculous - I troll no one - We have a very real mutual Interest -
Namely the US Involvement in the Ukraine & the Russian response to
what the Kremlin naturally percieves as a planned overt American threat to
closely surround & hem them in, Thus to effectively prevent any effective
retaliatory responce to an American Bankster inspired first strike

& in line with this threat we have people like Ronstar, who's argument
seems to have consistently devolved across the board, into repeatedly
calling for Nuclear War pre-emptory or otherwise against what he would
................................have us believe, is the insidious Russian Monster,

I will not let that go unanswered & simply point out the unsavory Reality
that if your PuppetMasters keep poking at the Bear with their Economic
& Military threats. they may unfortunately achieve your wish.

Though not quite on the terms that you or they might have Expected

To openly advocate Nuclear War is Irrational & Insane -
To realize it as a very Real possibility in a world run by Psychopaths
.......................................................... is Unfortunately both Rational & Sane

These fools have no idea what they are talking about. I read the congressional report by a scientist appointed and tax funded that obviously none of the reps read that if both Russia and the US use only 1% of their nuke arsenal it will cause a dark winter that will lat 10 years and nothing above ground will survive due to the inability to grow anything. Clueless, dumbed down sheep.

Robert Parry of Consortium News has an interesting article: Who’s Telling the ‘Big Lie’ on Ukraine? Well it seems that according to Washington, Vladimir Putin concocted the whole thing in Ukraine. In other words he was the one who made the IMF loans severe so that Yanukovich would turn down the E.U. He was also the one who trained the Nazi thugs at Maidan to get rid of Yanukovich so he could put in a bunch of oligarch criminals. He was also the one who had them put in a language law banning Russian so the Russians in Crimea would want their independence as well as the Russians in the Donbas.

It seems Washington is going a bit insane, and the E.U. is following along. Paul Craig Roberts just issued a big warning to the world: Washington and its NATO & EU Vassals are Insane.

Don't you love them? Finally a bit of truth.

Ummm. Litwin. How is it going in your imaginary world? 60 russian tanks were 30 km from Mariupol on the 29th of august. It's been a week since that time. What happened to them?
    1) They were destroyed and eaten by ukrainian patriots, who didn't leave any trace of them that is able to be pictured.
    2) They were trying to break through the ukraine defense line, but overspeeded and ended up at the bottom of the Sea (Atlantic Ocean in Psaki interpretation)
    3) They were scared by your revealing and returned to Russia.
    4) You just hope that this lie wil go unnoticed as thousands of different lies did.
    5) Your variant.
