A jury in South Carolina just gave Dylann Roof what he deserves. You want to start a race war in this country? DIE. It breaks my heart listening to Malcolm Graham. I will shed no tears over Roof's grave. He doesn't deserve the mercy he denied his victims.
It will probably be several years before Roof meets his well deserved demise. Here in Virginia, we are just getting around to executing a murderer who butchered a family ten years ago.

I understand where you're coming from, FreshAir. Even if he got LWOP he'd probably wind up like Jeffrey Dahmer. I have to wonder if Roof will live to see his sentence executed. In fact, I seriously doubt he will.

Stick him in general population. That way, the inmates will save the state the costs of the execution.
Every racist deserves to be raped? If that is what you are saying, and I don;t mean to put words in your mouth bu that is my interpretation of your post, I have to disagree. No one deserves to be raped. No one. What Mr. Roof did was horrific, and he was sentenced to death under our laws. Ultimately, pending the appeal process, he will serve that. But why call for such things as being forcibly sodomized amongst folks for being racist?
A movie clip? Hell, all Trump supporters I know have no problem with the death penalty here. Prison will probably keep him segregated from general population like they do with child molesters.
Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted. How about we simply allow the legal system to carry out the punishment without gleeful calls for raping and beating the guy?
Personally I think he should be hanged first then tied to a pole for the firing squad. After that he should get the electric chair. I would hope so. Imagine what would become of a country where every person was for the death penalty. I could see the death penalty creeping from horrific criminal acts to lesser crimes were it not for folks who keep it in check.
In California that would mean Dylan Roof would have been out of prison in 10 or 15 years under Gov. Jerry Brown's PC laws he pushed through, but Dylan Roof went stupid and committed his crimes in a red state full of deplorables.
