Fight for who; Assad, their 'leader' who is bombing them from helicopters, or ISIS who will certainly execute them out of hand just for being there? Do you have even the vaguest inkling of what's happening in Syria? Furthermore how would you suggest they fight against tanks, artillery, gas and missiles-used against them by both Assad and ISIS?

So, they would be cowards, just like the Syrian,Iraqi, Afghan, etc., males of fighting age leaving the others they would normally protect behind?

Guess they should have made better choices than allow ISIS to grow in their community.

Not like the writing wasn't on the wall an entire year what the intentions of ISI/ISIS/IS were.

Regardless, since when is leaving women and children behind - especially in such a patriarchal society as Syria - considered as anything else but cowardly?

Yeah, like the Germans should have made better choices in 1933, right?

You mean the "country" that was artificially created by Western powers?

Yes, stability is better that random chaos. This is something Americans find difficult to understand.

Why, were there Germans who tolerated the Nazis who then supposedly fled them later?

If so, then yes, their problem ain't mine.

Otherwise, how is that 'like' that?

    - - - Updated - - -

That has what to do with leaving women and children behind to face the dangers you're fleeing?

Are the lines of refugees solely made up of grown men?

Bush didn't snatch defeat from the jaws of victory...that was BoBo and his merry band of congressional enablers.

Why, because Bush timed the withdrawal to happen after he was gone?

Actually you're wrong. It's how we formed our great nation. We fought instead of giving in or fleeing.

    - - - Updated - - -

Where are we disagreeing on this? It sounds like we're pretty much on the same side. I think the Russians should aid Assad. Obama is an idiot.

Why should they fight for their country necessarily if they can escape to safety elsewhere? Were the original colonists cowards for escaping Europe for America?

Agreed, but def. ground troops need. Nothing works with just an aerial strike. You need to force them from the cities, which we did in a matter do days.

had we done a aerial attack, it would of sent a message to the countries to take care of their own

if a dozen crazy Americans stole some plans and ran them in to a Russian buildings, would we allow them to put boots on our ground?

then midway through Russia says, we think Canada has WMD, lets take over that country and replace it's government

by the time Russia's two ten plus year wars ended, they would have meany new enemies......

Because Washington's plan is continuous chaos in order to break Syria into small entities that can be easily controlled. This is what Russia won't allow, and this is why it is supporting Assad.

They are not fleeing the Assad government...you forget the Syrian people voted for him, they are fleeing the head chopping psychopaths that are being supported by our sociopaths in Washington.

But that's not surprising, people usually lean towards the ones on the same level of humanity as themselves.

Russia supprt the tyrant that gives them want they want, it got nothing to do with "cold war" nonsense or justice, the US doesnt know what it want's, its biggest wish - to get the hell away from it - is not possible.

Huh? Are you not aware that Syria was artificially formed by European powers? There never was a "Syria."
