    "‘No substantial comments’
Tarjei Rygnestad, leader of Den rettsmedisinske kommisjon, nonetheless said the commission was forwarding the report “with no substantial comments,” meaning that Husby’s and Sørheim’s conclusions were accepted. The commission agrees that Breivik is criminally insane and can’t be held responsible for the July 22 bombing and massacre that he planned for years and which left 77 persons dead."

I think, he shouldn't contest it, because is would be too dangerous for him in prison..Furthermore he becomes a possibility to go sane with the time..

I wonder if his being labled 'insane' was actually a political move, to help validate the concept of multiculturalism and its associated political agenda. Actually admitting that a sane person could have found reason to so violently oppose these policies might raise some questions. By labeling him and his ideas insane, it could potentially be just another avenue to discredit the anti-immigrant group.

It would really be a shame if they let politics interfere with justice like that.

I'm a little astonished about the diagnose "paranoid schizophrenia". I don't think such people are more dangerous than others. So it explains nothing about the motivation of this cruel mass-murderer. He saw not suddenly some monsters took the next knive and murdered some friends who were this monsters in his eyes because of a defect of his brain.

He was following plans for a long period, he trained, he had organized money and material ... . Normally people with a psychotic form of heavy psychophrenic paranoia are not able to do so if they are not using medicine, isn't it? If he was really psychotic then perhaps Mr. Anders Behring Breivik was only an instrument in the hands of someone (or something) else. I guess we need more informations about his real motivations and the steps of him in the last years.

If he is a danger for all people because of a psychotic sickness then maybe they are able to isolate him the rest of his life in a clinic. If he is "only" a murderer (=mass-murderer) then they are not able to isolate him longer than 20 or 21 years in prison - and afterwards he will maybe able to do a simliar deed in a greater context again.

He's alive and so he's worthful. To study him is the only thing what we can do. And for everyone who lost someone it could be a realistic hope if we are able to stop the next hypercriminal insane idiot who likes to do what he has done. If people are thinking they are normal then they are only not understanding themselve. If we can reach a deeper understanding of human psychology and neurology in his case it could help a lot.

The problem is how to tell someone who lost a beloved person that s/he is still able to be happy and that it is not a shame to be happy. As I said: He's worthful for us alive - as long as we are able to study him so we have a chance to find out what was really going on in his brain. This will help all victims of him.

Don't know what your problem is.

isn't it more convenient for you to blame their religion or their politics?

or are you saying Beivik isn't mad, and what he did was quite rational?

it takes a while, but even when people are still grieving they can experience happiness.

there is often a feeling of bittersweet, when you think of something that would have made the other person laugh, or that you could share with them ... and they just aren't there.

the memories of how they died can come flooding in at this point, but you can focus on the good memories you have, and remember the positives.

for most people, once past the worst of the grief you do move on, and there will always be new things to bring you joy and happiness ...

those people who lost their children/brthers/sisters will find that new people come into their lives, a grandchild, their own children, neices, nephews etc ... and this new life with new people to love can help with the healing process.

they never replace them, and there will always be times of sadness, but you can also find happiness.

but to go back to your first point .... I hope they learn enough from him to be able to prevent anything like this from ever happening again.

I doubt they will actually be open-minded enough to understand. Of course, very few norwegians would go so far as to actually murder, but views similar to his are not extremely uncommon in the country. His actions were a direct result of the increasing crime and epidemic rapes that certain regions of the country have seen in recent years. Norwegians look at what is happening in other european countries and not all of them like what they see. Many are worried the newcommers could potentially threaten Norway's high standard of living in years to come.

But of course, the real issue is protecting Norway's culture and national identity.

This is one of the oldest anti immigration arguments I know of. every successive wave of immigration is likely to bring the same according to opponents of immigration. Its the same debate we had here in the late seventies/early eighties re indo chinese refugees ... our living standards were not lowered, and and changes we have experienced have been related to much wider social and economic trends. If anything, we live in a fairer and more equal society now.

What can be a problem is when new immigrant groups are concentrated at the bottom of the social and economic hierarchy, and experience marginalisation. "hope scarcity" among adolescents, especially young men, in an immigrant community, combined with a hostile attitude towards them by mainstream society is a trigger for an increase in anti social behaviour and criminal activity.

I also think it is disgusting to use immigrants as a reason for justifying the actions of people like breivik.

tjhose who promote similar views, were there in his head egging him on when he pulled the trigger.

African Americans have still never fully integrated into American society, whether it is Canada, Brazil, or the USA. If Europeans want to see what the future holds for a multicultural nation, they should look to the USA. Western Europe can expect to see more inner city poverty, overcrowding, and crime. And this phenomena is not going to go away any time soon, if the recent history of the USA is any indication of the future.

    why?

Is europe bringing Africans to europe as slaves?

or are you saying that the situation of bringing africans and Turks to europe to fill unskilled labour shortages during the latter part of the 20th century is the same thing as slavery?

I would also like to see some stats on the Canadian situation

First: Indeed there's a continous flow of the human color black to white and black is the original color because we are under our skin all Africans. The lionman (my avatar from a root of our history 32000 years ago) is the first human being in self-expression we ever had found. I guess s/he had a black skin and was brown eyed - while I am blue eyed with white skin.

So what about if you would say: "Eurasian Africans are not integrated into American society." Ask some 'red' Africans about. Everyone can see that the anglo-american cultures worldwide followed (and are following) an extreme way of violence where death and destruction of foreign cultures are often the only ways of "integration". In Hawaii for example life became to expensive for the people who had lived there since centuries or milleniums because "whites" have money. The daily life in their own cities became often to expensive for original Hawaiians. "Whites" are not integrating themselve into the hawaiian cultures and are continuing this cultures.

I would say "whites" are often only amusing themselve to death. And why should someone integrate himselve in an amusing form of death only because it is amusing to die? The simple truth is maybe that Mr. Anders Behring Breivik amused himselve and lots of his fellow country man to death. He's maybe without any own identity but only a a typical product of the euro-american way of death. Perhaps he's nothing else than our own mirror and what we see is our own head of the gorgons. Perhaps "we" made him to stone.
