    1. Britain's Royal Air Force (RAF) chief says it was "unacceptable" its former pilots were being recruited to train the Chinese military, and intelligence agencies in Australia and Britain had shared information to warn pilots against working for Beijing, Reuters reported.

In October Britain said it would change the law to make it an offence for a former military pilot to continue training a foreign military after being warned by British intelligence agencies to stop.

The Royal Air Force's Air Chief Marshal Mike Wigston told ABC in an interview at the Avalon Air Show in Australia the warnings were about China.

"We made the decision to go public on this in a very loud, clear way, that it's unacceptable and it's something that we were prepared to call China out publicly," he said.....

    2. China has recruited dozens of former British military pilots to teach the Chinese armed forces how to defeat western warplanes and helicopters in a "threat to UK interests", officials have revealed.

One official said some 30 mainly ex-fast jet but also some helicopter pilots - lured by annual salaries of around £240,000 - are currently in China training pilots for the People's Liberation Army, in what a defence analyst described as a stunning breach of security.

A retired senior Royal Air Force officer said: "Wow… that is appalling. What were they thinking?"

Beijing is actively trying to hire many more serving and former military pilots and other specialists from across the RAF, the Royal Navy and the British Army as well as personnel from other western nations, the western official said.

The situation is so grave, the Ministry of Defence's Defence Intelligence service on Tuesday issued a "threat alert" to warn serving and former military personnel against such approaches.

Armed Forces Minister James Heappey told Sky News' Kay Burley the recruitment of UK pilots to train Chinese counterparts had been a concern within the Ministry of Defence "for a number of years"....

    3. Anyone who has first heard of such news would be shaking his head in disbelief and saying: "That's incredible! Have the Chinese government and military gone nuts?" China's risky project is akin to putting a couple of rats into a barrel of rice or sharing one's bed with a python. It would be equally shocking if China recruits retired James Bond (assuming he is not a fictional character) into its secret service, or if a retired CIA agent is found to have married a former KGB agent secretly forty years ago, or if the US president is found to be using a Huawei mobile phone secretly despite his campaign to ban Huawei and other Chinese mobile phones. By the way, there is no scientific proof that Huawei or any Chinese phone is used for spying in America or Europe. The spying accusation is used as a pretext by the US Empire to strangle the Chinese economy.

    4. Why are the UK, Australia, the US or other Western countries so afraid of China's risky and foolish undertaking? Don't they have the courage and wisdom to retaliate by recruiting China's retired Korean War veterans to train their military forces in using human wave attack tactic and the means of disgracing the enemy soldiers eternally by biting them to death?

If the Chinese government and military can look at the "bright side" of its risky venture, why can't China's geopolitical rivals view it positively? The UK Royal Air Force (RAF) chief seems to have forgotten that his country has "recruited" an Indian to be its Prime Minister. Sunak is not the only Indian "recruitment" into the UK government. There are quite a number of Indians in the UK parliament too. Does the "recruitment" of an Indian Prime Minister and Indian MPs into the UK government signal that the British Empire has gone the way of the Byzantine Empire or the Old Babylonian Empire? Or is it a demise like the "shrinking" of dinosaurs into birds?

So what pockets of hope and positiveness can China's geopolitical rivals see in the Chinese military's risky undertaking in the long run? Perhaps like what has happened in the UK, future generations may see the emergence of a Chinese president of Indian or African or even Caucasian descent. However, that may take a thousand more years to happen in China.

There were two periods in Chinese history when the country was ruled by non-Han emperors. Recently, the Xinjiang governor had to cancel his Europe trip because he is regarded as a puppet of the Xi regime. The EU and US have to look at themselves in the mirror. For instance, out of 50 state governors in the US, there is only one of Chinese descent. How racist! How unfair to the Chinese Americans!

If the Xinjiang governor is a prominent member of the powerful Politburo, foreign governments will have no choice but to meet with him to discuss bilateral issues. An effective Chinese administration and powerful leadership team should include women, non-Mandarin speaking southern Chinese (e.g. from Guangdong, Fujian, Hainan, etc), Uyghurs, Tibetans and other ethnic minorities. The task of reunification could become easier and more effective if the Taiwanese recognise they can participate actively in the central government. That is many times more productive and effective than sending aircraft and warships across the Taiwan Strait. However, I am afraid it may take many centuries to happen. Enlightened rulers were rare gems in Chinese history.

I find it more upsetting that pilots are willing to even do it. It is a sellout of everything they served for.

This has been going on for decades at least. I know several pilots who moved to China to train pilots in Boeings.

The British RAF chief is a cry baby, whining because some pilots have gone to train Chinese military types.

The US bring many foreign pilots and other military types here to train. Some years ago at Pensacola a foreign pilot (Afghani?) training there cut loose with a gun.

The British tend to be cry babies, this is a perfect example.

I’m sure in the thicket of laws democracies have, there are “plans and spec’s” for a gallows in there somewhere.

However they maybe intelligence agents, showing little, learning a lot. One can only hope.
