What they fail to tell you in the Qu'ran is that the 72 virgins are old men too ugly to get laid.

LOL. Reminds me of the joke where a terrorist bomber suicide bombs a bus full of children and goes to heaven were he is met a large mob of men in white wigs, long coats and large sticks. "What's this?", he asks, "where are the 72 virgins?". A booming voice comes from above and says "Not virgins, Virginians!"

You're using the same broadbrush to tar people as you claim they are doing to you and others. Hate begets hate.

    Condemnation begets CHANGE.
When the white supremacists in 1959 were condemned for their racism, CHANGE soon followed. Condemnation can be a good thing.

Good question. The way you defend the barbarity of the Bible one would ASSUME that you're a Christian, but I've seen many many ATHEISTS/AGNOSTICS (seriously, I have) defend the Biblical fairy tale, such as Ronstar, and Questerr.....all of whom I do respect, and assume they are just doing that because they don't want to see "hatred" against Christians - so they defend the indefensible.

    Have a great week.

Nope...I am making a joke about the beliefs and stating an opinion with humor concerning how I would avoid them.

You have that backwards, kid. When Americans demanded their rights to be treated equally among all Americans, thats when changed followed be it for racial minorities or women. More recently we've seen it from gays seeking the same 1138 Federal rights and benefits as married straight couples.

Your way is a path to intolerance. We, the People shouldn't be condemning people. We should be recognizing and protecting the rights of all Americans.

Feel free to quote a single post where I "defend the barbarity of the Bible". If you can't, will you apologize?

Some are speaking from experience, but to assume all atheists live meaningless lives is pretty arrogant.

Agreed. IMHO, it's only the loud-mouthed militant atheists who, like loud-mouthed, militant theists, seek to impose their beliefs upon others either by action or denial of access who are leading meaningless lives since they have little to do if just minding their own frickin' business.

I, for one atheist, don't want to force my views on others - I honestly would never want to outlaw religion (if I was king.)

Christians UTTERLY HATE us non-Christians so much, so terribly much (arguably), that they can't seem to muster the courage to condemn God/Jesus for sending us (even ethical ones among us!) to a brutal torturous existence, forever, in God/Jesus' "hell", even when I ask them to. They defend their Torquemada-like God/Jesus character!

PS Actually, Torquemada, who was trying to please God/Jesus, did far far less damage than their God/Jesus will (allegedly) do - a mere drop in the bucket! So Torquemada, and Hitler, and Saddam, are "better" than God/Jesus, arguably.

I will not champion ANYONE who calls a kid who just survived watching his friends die an actor or people who run over innocents because they don't like Hitler or confederate generals. Nor will I "Be Tolerant" of those who help a corrupt and lying President dismantle the foundations of what makes my country great.

Weird people think what ever the voices in their heads tell them. I cannot control, nor do I desire to control, what they think.

Secondly, just because a person doesn't condemn something doesn't mean they condone it. I haven't seen you condemn child rape and slavery in Nigeria. By your and WoG's logic, it means you must condone it.

The facts are this: WoG made a wild claim then ran from backing up those claims. What do you call a person who makes accusations but can't back them up with proof, facts or other evidence? A liar? Deceitful? Scumbag? Please tell me.

You are free to condemn those that do. Personally, I think all conspiracy theorists are whackjobs. I'm well on record calling Trump a ****ing moron. What pisses of the Left is that I'm also on record saying I'd rather have Trump be President than Hillary.

Yet you, like those "Christians" you hate so much, tar them with one wide brush just as you accuse them of doing to you.

To the point of sitting back and just watching as a person like Trump makes our country seem a fool and destroys what we fought to become? I seriously dislike HillBill as well, but find it difficult to understand how she could have been worse. I in fact now regret NOT voting for her.

I don't see it that way, tealwings. Theists are people who require some external meaning and justification for everything. Atheists can live meaningful lives because of the meaning they give it. They have the stronger sense of self between the two because their world won't "fall apart" if an outside force doesn't exist to validate them.

I don't "hate" them - I'd let them into "heaven" if it was up to me.....unlike most Muslims who are asked that question.

Officially I only condemn those Christians that lack the common decency to remove the barbaric parts from their Bible - not all Christians, like you claim. Obviously they are immoral - compared to Modern Secular Humanists.

PS I'd let ethical Muslims into "heaven" too, because, unlike Jesus, I'm not into torture - I'm more loving/forgiving/compassionate than Jesus is, of course.

Didn't you listen to RWers make the same claim during Obama's 8 years? The fact remains that the United States, with a population of 320M and the world's largest economy is a lot more robust and resilient than many people give it credit for being.
