You obviously have no idea about Serbs since you insinuate such a thing, but here just for fun as promised, no fictional paintings, no microscopic photos centuries after monastery was built... tell me what do you see ;) ?

LOL hahah..thats what the serbian painter portrayed the albanians as ottoman collaborators?

Besides you albanians are 70% muslim according to World CIA world fact books....And Islam is your major religion and albania are members of the Islamic Cooperative Union....

so you dont have to hide behind Skenderbeg anymore from these facts because Skenderbeg didnt influence any form of christianity to albanians ..and albanians were practicing islam for centuries...

Scanderbeg was anti-ottoman but you can never find a book where it says that Scanderbeg faught against Islam ;)
And he is OUR KING because he learned us what Unity means ;)

Why he reverted to Christianity if Islam was alright in his book?

Ancient Romans copied your hats, I knew it ;)
    ______________________________________
pileus, close-fitting, brimless hat worn by the ancient Romans and copied from the Greek sailor’s hat called the pilos. In Roman times the head was generally left uncovered, but commoners and freed slaves sometimes wore the felt pileus.

The hat was again popular during the Renaissance, especially in Italy, when it was square or rounded and made of black or red velvet or felt. The zucchetto and the biretta, worn by some orders of clergy, developed from the pileus.

yea but the painting describes it differently....

It has a picture of a serbian man lying on a dead albanian with an albanian shield to the ground... You can see the albanian shield on the ground and the dead albanian with his albanian hat...

The serbian man is recieving food and water from a serbian woman which has been named after her... The maiden of kosovo...

I am talking about the battle of kosovo 1389 and not your skenderbeg which is a different story that happened decades later...

Besides the roman catholic church and orthodox christian church were enemies because of the schism of 1054 AD...

thats why the turks were successful? division between the christian churches that gave no unity between them...

Everyone wanted their denomination that didnt give resistance against the Ottomans..

Besides you tell me when Orthodoxy and Roman Catholicism were united????????

    They never had unity...

Remember the last crusades when roman catholic crusaders plundered Constantinople??????

    4th crusade????

    another question?

If skenderbeg really fought against the muslim turks and you and I know church and state were one, why didn't his roman catholic faith made impact on the local albanian population?

Why didn't everyone convert to Roman Catholicism ? Why didn't he make an impact on converting the albanian muslims into roman catholicism since the CIA world fact book describes Albania as 70% muslims and they want to make a new mosque and musuem in Tirana?

Why not a new Roman Catholic cathedral?

Why did Mother Theresa go to India? Why didn't she try to convert her albanian muslim counterparts into Roman Catholicism?

Did Skenderbeg really make a religious impact on his people to change into Roman catholicism ?

    apparently not...

The guy that you are trying to make Albanian is Turk and he doesnt have an ALBANIAN HAT but a TURKISH HAT, The hat is in RED AND WHITE Color and completly different form from the "Plis"

Oh yeh? I can't see a text in his head saying that he is Serbian...

Turks were succesful because they had balls,Forget those non-color movies from Serbian actors.

    Your problem.

Scanderbeg was the king of the Albanians and the biggest families in Albania at that time were all Catholic but as always religion is not so important at Albanians and even the Muslims Albanians faught for Scanderbeg!

Because religion is something personal and you can't say to all the nation become Christians because i think its the right thing to do :p)
But Again Albanians faught for Scanderbeg against the Ottoman Rule in Balcan.

You can find the new Roman Catholic cathedral in Prishtina (Made by Albanians)

Because Indians were starving for Food and not Albanians.
AGAIN AND AGAIN, Religion is Personal.

Some people changed the religion to catholic after the Ottoman rule but most of them stayed in Islam. (I think you know why;))

Uros Predic's painting 'Kosovo maiden' is based on a Serbian epic poetry!

    The Maiden of Kosovo

Early rose the maiden of Kosovo,
Early rose she on a Sunday morning,
Rose before the brilliant sun had risen.
She has rolled the white sleeves of her robe back,
    Rolled them back up to her soft white elbows;
On her shoulders, fair white bread she carries,
In her hands two shining golden goblets,
In one goblet she has poured fresh water,
And has poured good red wine in the other.
Then she seeks the wide plain of Kosovo,
Seeks the noble Prince’s place of meeting,
Wanders there amongst the bleeding heroes.
When she finds one living midst the wounded
Then she laves him with the cooling water,
Gives him, sacramentally, the red wine,
Pledges with her fair white bread the hero.

Fate at last has led her wand’ring footsteps
    Unto Pavle Orlovitch, the hero,
Who has borne the Prince’s battle-standard.
From his gaping wounds the blood is streaming,
His right hand and his left foot are severed--
And the hero’s ribs are crushed and broken,
But he lingers still amongst the living.
From the pools of blood she drags his body
And she laves him with the cooling water,
Red wine, sacramentally, she gives him,
Pledges then with fair white bread the hero.

    ...

So, now you know that the mythical dying hero was Pavle Orlovic.
