you really show alot about how you think here. You really think that if the civil rights act was amended to allow private businesses to have free will, white people would go and segregate Walmart tomorrow. Just ponder how racist you really are to judge all white people so drastically like this.
how do you feel it is manipulative? It was pretty simple.

    your prejudice is amazing.

so, would you choose to serve them or would you like to have the right to tell them to (*)(*)(*)(*) off? I am not defending the KKK at all, so your personal opinion is pretty much what I expected.

I'm not anything of the kind, as you infer. You don't seem to understand my example. Perhaps later on you will fathom the meaning of what I have related.

Nothing so "amazing"; but try to tell me that the 1964 Civil Rights Act was somehow "wrong"... and I'll be as biased against you as anyone you've ever seen/known. I would not be ashamed of that, not one iota.

Get off of the KKK. I don't relate to them at all. Try making sense of what you're trying to say in some other way.

You think walmart would become segregated tomorrow if the civil rights act was repealed because thats all white people are waiting for. You need a little introspective and see whats wrong with yourself before you go out looking at what is wrong with others.

The part of the civil rights act that took away Jim Crowe laws was spot on. No public sector job or facility or property should ever be segregated. Private business on the other hand should have the right to choose whom they serve, just like the private customer has the right of where they spend their money.

I know you don't, so why can't you just admit that you would like to have the CHOICE to serve or NOT to serve the backwoods redneck honkies if they were to come into your store.

Most of the time, people's complaints against gay marriage boil down to one of three things.

    1) Ewww its icky I don't like it.
    2) Its against my religion, ban it.
    3) I don't want those deviants having the same rights as me.

Take you pic, that's usually what it is.

And all of them are wrong to make a law to oppress any class or group of people. I just don't get how people can make the same mistake as the Jim Crowe laws again.

We strongly disagree concerning the above.

You simply do not 'fathom' that I don't truly think I (you or any business) should ever have that right.

If KKK members can (and they do) enter a public establishment, keep the peace and do their business... so be it.

But please rest assured, that as far as it concerns 'me'... I won't ever agree that a BUSINESS which serves the public, should be allowed to discriminate solely upon any ethnic, cultural or political basis. I think the 1964 Civil Rights Act is fine/good (as written and presently enforced).

Your PRIVATE business is not public business, it is not supported by public taxes, so it is not a public business.

That's not necessarily the case. (And this isn't the thread for this debate. Maybe some Ron Paul topic would be better for this part of the argument.)
