Can Ultrasounds help prevent abortions?

Sonograms are routinely done in abortions already, you can't force women to look at them unless you hold their head and force open their eyes, and we've already posted statistics that women who see them do not change their mind. What else do you want? These are the facts, there is nothing more we can tell you. You can continue to support more wasteful spending to push bills that require forced sonograms (which are done already) or you can stop trying to meddle in women's private healthcare and save loads of taxpayer money by doing so.

 

No they want to be the ones holding the woman's head facing the screen while forcing open their eyes screaming "This is what you will kill!!"

They want to make a difficult choice more fraught

But they do not want to help prevent it happening in the first place

More facts concerning these women who seek to abort their child could give more reason to introduce them to ultrasounds. The following facts go to show that the majority of these pregnant women aren't in any position to make a reasonable or a sensible decision that could and does affect them for the rest of their lives.

85% of abortions are performed on unmarried women

Only 12% of these women listed health problems as being the reason to have an abortion

3 out 4 of these women said having a baby would interfere with work, school or other responsibilities

3 out 4 say they can't afford having a baby

1 out of 2 say they don't want to be a single parent or are having problems with husbands or partners

Only 1% of these women say they wanted an abortion due to being raped

So as you can see, most of these women haven't been educated on the many liberal policies/avenues of our marvelous welfare system in which to
explore to get a helping hand. I didn't even bother to look into the many young couples who are willing and able to adopt said child, but that becomes another legitimate
choice for the beleaguered woman to perhaps pursue. The examples and percentages I gave of the less than desirable living and emotional condition of these women makes it even more paramount that they get to see a more uplifting side to life itself by looking at these ultrasounds.

I see many of these women who get an abortion as taking the easy way out--which is the liberal way of doing things. Most everything we do in life, or most anything we do that accomplishes something of worth takes hard work, and for these women to actually give birth and work through the difficult times in life will take hard work.

I bet you same abortion advocates are the same people who if having seen and known from an ultrasound of your fetus that it was Mongoloid--that you wouldn't hesitate to abort said baby for the same selfish reasons of not wanting to raise a normal child, with the further burden of raising a Down's Syndrome child. You would abort the Mongoloid in a heartbeat, and that being whether the woman was married or partnered up or not. Notice that a real woman like Sarah Palin didn't take the wussie way out by aborting her Down's Syndrome child, thus the major difference between Conservatives and Liberals/Leftists. We Conservatives remain pro LIFE, while you Leftists remain pro death.

I don't think the premise is to force women to look at sonagrams. I think the premise of the thread is to try to persuade a woman to look. If its really just a bunch of clumps of cells---then what is the problem? Hiding the sight of a woman's embryo from her so that she continues to think of it as a "mass"---is not fair to her.

 

I say let women decide for themselves what's "fair' and what isn't. Women aren't intellectually challenged because they're female....they sure don't need anyone to tell them what "pregnant" means....

 

Brilliant, I'm quite sure they know what 'pregnant' means, but I'm not so sure they know what 'murder' means, or of the guilty and selfish feelings they'll have for the rest of their lives for having undergone such an immoral act.

And pretending you're some mind reader just doesn't cut the mustard...

IF you have actual PROOF that you know the minds of half the population you should really cash in on it and start a TV show or something where you PROVE you can read minds....you could get very rich with PROOF like that....why haven't you?????

Maybe in your TV show you could include informing crooked bankers, CEO, and other criminals to be sure they know what criminal acts mean and the guilty and selfish feelings they'll have for the rest of their lives for having undergone such an immoral acts.

Then why must a doctor describe what the ultrasound shows if she will not look?
