Can you tell your child that he/she probably would have been murdered by their parents' will?

A tale of three abortion situations. . Before I go into it I will, for clarification, admit that at one time I was indifferent about the subject but today am Pro - Life.

Abortion case # 1 - When I was a young lad I recieved word that I was the father of this girl in Montreal. I drove up there and we visited a Doctor and confirmed that yes she was pregnant and about 2 or 3 months. This fit in with the time I could well have been the father. She wanted to get an abortion and after thinking about it I strongly objected and decided to marry her. She had a baby girl and she turned out to be quite healthy. The marriage to the mother did not last but the relationship to the daughter has lastd 60 years. That daughter had two children of her own. A boy and a girl.

Abortion case # 2. - After a few years I remarried and while sharing about abortion this new wife shared how she had abortion because she became careless and was pregnated by a minister who was married. She had four children and was not married at the time. She didn't want others to think badly about her and wanted to hide it from her kids. So, she had an abortion at Planned Morherhood. She told be that regretted her decision because she constantly feels remorse and guilt when ever she thinks about the situation.

Abortion Case # 3. Out of this last marriage of 4 kids, one was a girl, I raised her as one of my own and love her today as if she was. When she was about 16 she came into the room I was watching TV and sat on my lap and asked me "if I loved her". I thought she was buttering me up to buy her a car and I told her "of course I love you, now, what do you want" Then she told me that she was no longer a virgin but did not admit being pregnant. I told her I still loved her and that I thought she was too young to be in a sexual relationship. I also let her know if she was pregnant that we would support her and not throw her out of the house. At the time I didn't know that the father had no intention of supporting a child as it would ruin his going to college. Unknown to me she did go to the abortion clinic and had an abortion. She has been barren ever since and unable to have children of her own. It is sad since she really loves children.

Now back to case # 1. If my situation would have happened today I would not have had a say in my first daughters life. As I said my daughter had had two children and one was a girl. That grand-daughter now has a son and is expecting in Jan to deliver a girl. Those two grandkids and now the one grandchild have been so loved and given so much pleasure to my daughter, grand-daughter and me and my wife. None of it would have been possible if my first wife decided it was her right alone to terminate her pregnacy and infringed on the childs right to develope and be concieved into the world.

 

Young people aren't confused by this issue like republicans are. They most of all want the right to make their own choices.

 

It might just be wise to keep quiet.......
because the potential psychological damage to a human being if and when they find out that their parents wanted them dead....... can be serious indeed........
