    Here is a man who deliberately talks and behaves like the crime boss
    in some old Humphrey Bogart movie to impress his voters,
    surrounds himself with shady characters, some of which have already
    been indicted, and then continually whines about being investigated.

    Now he seems to be defending a US Navy Seal who has been accused
    of misconduct. What will be expected of this highly trained and skilled
    military person in return? What kind of “favor” would be asked of such
    a weapons expert? And what message will this action send
    to the growing number of “white supremacists”
    and so called “nationalists” that are now coming out of the shadows
    with increasing aggression?

    Perhaps I'm just not in the loop but I am pretty sure that the President of the United States didn't go up to the Navy SEAL and say "Alright man check it out I'll get you off the hook but you owe me" while simultaneously petting a cat in the shadows...

    Trump is a whole lot of things but this is seriously getting to the point of comically ridiculous now. The US Government is not the mafia with one guy at the top being able to do whatever he wants with absolute power. Trump is not Don Corleone and Trump is not King regardless of whether he personally wishes he was or not. Trump is subject to the same check and balances and laws as every other President. The entire fabric of the US government didn't just dissolve simply because Trump became President.

    Keep in mind where Trump is coming from him. Everything Trump does is for the benefit of his patron who worked to get Trump elected, Vladimir Putin.

    Trump is extremely loyal to those who help him, and Putin is siding with Trump on the impeachment issue. Like Trump, Putin also wants Articles of Impeachment passed in the House and a Senate trial to further tear our country apart.

    No, I am literally quoting the direct words that were said. There is no false statement being given here. The statement and question was provided by you in regards to the Navy SEAL in order to get opinions of others as you said. So I am asking you to clarify what you meant by the question that was quoted. If the conclusion that I came to was inaccurate then what were you trying to say in regards to the statement you made regarding Trump and the Navy SEAL?

    That has nothing to do with what was posted in the OP. In the OP was posted a statement implying one to believe some sort of quid pro quo may have been established in regards to Trump backing the Navy SEAL on a personal level.

    That is ridiculous, not grounded in reality, and has zero evidence to be supported.

    Perhaps you're confusing my compulsive curiosity with paranoia.
    I've observed this government becoming increasingly chaotic over the years.
    Since voting seems to make no difference at all,
    I tend find solace in trying to anticipate Trump's next escapade.
    He does put on quite a show.
