Yeah, we're all very much aware of their responsibilities. The defense lawyers sometimes have to take on the job of defending real scumbags, like child rapists b/c they do have their rights to a defense. BUT a defense attorney who does win the case and they KNOW their client is guilty.....if that attorney has any kind of class, he/she will close the case and walk away from it w/o babbling and giggling about how they set a child rapist free.
