You don't seem to know how things world in small towns and rural counties all over America.

Public defenders are appointed by the court for defendants who cannot afford to hire private counsel. If you have not bonded out, the court will automatically appoint a public defender for you at your first court date, called your arraignment.

Some counties do not have a Public Defender's Office. In those counties, judges appoint lawyers who regularly practice in their courts or are on a court-appointed list indicating they will accept a court appointed case. Those lawyers are paid from the court fund.

 

Over the years I've gone to them on many issues and they always seem to have a 'liberal slant' to their decisions

Just another reason why 'ppl' hate lawyers and call them bottom dwelling scum suckers!

If the $$$ wasnt so good there wouldnt be many who became one for moral purposes and purely to bring justice to society

I think social workers (those on the line of real life) would provide better justice than the cross the "T's" and dot the "I's" legalists.

My nephew's wife was a lawyer who now in her late 40's quit the profession due to being sick with the so called justice she experienced, and after being a volunteer for abused women is now getting her degree to be a social counselor!

 

Nothing wrong with social workers, but if you were accused of a crime would you want a social worker or a lawyer?

 

In this legal system, I choose cyanide...the 3rd option.

 

With on-the-firing-line social workers, the truth and justice would prevail, but you're not interested in that, huh.

Bet you've got a son or daughter who is a lawyer..and has set you up in a condo for retirement?

 

The blog is a lie. Clinton was not working at the public defender's office and did not have to take any case.

She lied to the court in that she asserted false facts not in evidence as an officer of the court, calling upon the court to rely upon her that the 12 year was a slut who seduced old men.

In fact she did laugh about it on the radio.
