About all you say for them is they do help the wearer from expelling large droplets into the air when sneezing or screaming or loud and obnoxiously talking.....beyond that? Of course they can contribute to cross contamination

That is exactly what one of my doctors told me. They cannot stop viruses but they can reduce passage of large droplets from coughing or sneezing. In other words, they are worthless.

"Common sense" is one of the most oxymoronic phrases there are. Not everything is intuitive, especially when you don't have the facts. The problem with your argument is that covid is primarily transmitted through the air, and is not as easily spread through contact. So even if you increase the issues with surface contamination, it's a net benefit when you significantly reduce the spread through the air.

There's more public schools and they are larger with more students. They need to be liable to more kids and schools public or pvt should be able to make their own safety decisions. Not some hypocrite governor hundreds of miles away. Safe in his home.

 

Here in utah there is no mask mandates in schools. One hospital is already at 102% of ICU capacity. I’m completely okay with no masks and support it. It’s going to get worse but some people may need a slap in the face to realize this may be worse than the vaccine. I am not for forcing it on anyone. But the time people will see the consequences of their actions is coming wether it be for the good or for the worse.

however, I do wish the best for everyone. I truly do.
