actually YouLie, you are wrong... but carry on

King James Bible : Matthew 19:9
And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.

    Ephesians 2

2 As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, 2 in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. 3 All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh[a] and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath. 4 But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.

in support of same sex marriage, is better to enter a LGBT marriage then burn in passion

    http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1 Corinthians 7:8-9&version=NIV

    "
8 Now to the unmarried and the widows I say: It is good for them to stay unmarried, as I am.
9 But if they cannot control themselves, they should marry, for it is better to marry than to burn with passion.

Well, if the law say yes and you say no, then pay the fine.

So a person could be sexually attracted to the same gender.....but as long as they don't have homosexual sex....

they're "not really gay" and "still a REAL Christian"?

And say so on blogs and stuff? They could even talk about the evils of homosexuality and not be a hypocrite....

    right?

I believe a simple solution is to simply go, not-for-profit in public accommodations if social morals for free are considered more valuable than a profit motive.

they had their day in court and they are only delaying the inevitable. They lost. They need to accept fate.

    you are incorrect

the homosexual activist who works for the state imposed the fine upin the Christians and I quote " hoped the fine would help rehabilitate them"

This has always been about 2 activist lesbians specifically targeting Christians and having the support of a homosexual activist in the position to impose a punitive fine and nice payday for the lesbians.

I don't think that they expected for the common folks to see this as the 1st Amendment assault that it is.

Nope; they have to go "not for profit" to engage in any prejudice in public accommodations.

Are you a homosexual if you are attracted to the same sex and not the opposite sex?

    Silly questions you asked.

When outrage and ignorance are the only motivating forces in determining who to vote for we end up with the sort of lawmakers who enable such radical lengths of pandering to Islam.

They'll make Christians fund baby killing but they won't make Muslims work during work hours nor will they hold them to the completely basic requirements of their jobs.

Liberals call their special brand of religious bigotry "progress".

Christians aren't persecuted in the United states. Well some of us are. But largely they aren't.

What the hell ever happened to people muttering "screw you" and walking out and patronizing another business when somebody treats them crappy? People skills aren't exactly high on many business' priority lists in one town near me, therefore most folks just accept it as normal. There is no diversity, so it's people who all look alike just treating each other like crap. (I'm not originally from here so I can't, and won't, accept it.) However, if a minority was to walk into some of these businesses I've been treated crappily enough to walk out of (it used to be known as "speaking up with your wallet or boycotting"), they'd probably be crying "discrimination!!!" like crazy.

Why couldn't that couple (no matter WHO they are), have patronized another cake maker who could have used their business? I sure as hell wouldn't ever patronize a business, even for something as small as acting like they are doing me the biggest privelege on earth just cashing me out at the register. When I first moved here, people sighing out loud and/or rolling eyes because you greet them with a hello and want to pay for something in their store was a shock. I've left items on counters and walked out with NO hesitation because there's always a business somewhere who don't have such horrible attitude.

Sorry I can't edit previous post to add this: I'm in sales and travel a lot, so tend to notice weird quirks of human nature.
To women out there: Next time you go to a restaurant without your spouse (or are single), take note of how "enthusiastic" people are to wait on you. And when they finally (reluctantly) do acknowledge you, note the service of the couple in the next booth compared to yours. Imagine if restaurants got sued for that! I see it when I'm out WITH my spouse. We get our food -- and sometimes a second drink, we've SEEN this -- before some poor lady, who was already there when we walked in, gets to eat something as simple as a sandwich. Horrible.

Lousy customer service is not the same as refusal of service in public accommodation. Firms should go, "not for profit" if they want to discriminate in public accommodation.

    1st Amendment cannot be over-ruled

this was never about "bad service"

it was about homosexual activists deliberately trying to get Christians to service a celebration of the gay lifestyle. The bureaucrat in oregon (gay by the way) who imposed the $135,000 penalty upon the Christians (payable to the lesbians for being offended) publicly declared that he was trying to rehabilitate the 2 Christians.

Choosing to live the gay lifestyle does not give anyone the ability to usurp the 1st Amendment Rights from Christians or anyone else.
