First you claim Jesus is apolitical, then you list all the political positions Jesus would endorse.

And you skipped the major issue - you reneged on your promise, is that the example of your religion?

 

We need to be looking at the best information we have available.

That requires cross checking with experts from around the USA and the world.

That's a better approach that attempting to BLOCK information as you proposed earlier.

 

Jesus clearly had a lot to say about how we should live our lives.

In fact, in Matthew 25:31-end Jesus is quoted as pointing out that how his own followers, the Christians of the day, can end up in hell along side Satan if they fail in duties involving searching out and helping others, especially those in prison, those in hospitals, those who are poor. Plus, he clearly walked that walk.

That message has NOTHING to do with partisanship - the plague on America today.

Frankly, as an atheist I would say we could use more of a "what would Jesus do" attitude.

Plus, if Jesus IS God, then fewer Christians will be going to hell.

If the only truth that can be is whatever your religion tells you is true then it is only smart to abandon the quest of self-delution. You can pretend it's true you can even think that it's true but that doesn't make it true.
