Playing ignorant about the slowdown is just lazy.

    This slowdown?

The slowdown that the 10 hottest years in recorded history happened during?

Hottest years during the short period of actual recordings and the hottest year by one tenth is irrelevant but sexy for headlines. How do you explain ancient forests being uncovered by retreating glaciers?

Even then there is still much unknown like what the actual trigger is for the change to and from the short inter-glacial periods.

I love climate change threads. They usually consist of someone with a brain posting some actual science confirming yet again what 99% of scientists agree with. Then, the right wing crackpots come in and with all their intellectual force say.... 'nuh uh.'

No, there isn't. The trigger is slight changes in the orbit and tilt of the earth that cause a small change in the amount of solar radiation reaching earth. The earth's feedback loops, such as the greenhouse effect and albedo, cause the chain reaction that takes us into and out of interglacials. These change occur over ~100k years.

There are numerous examples papers surmising what the trigger or triggers are. It is not something known.

I just provided you the proof and the explanation of the trigger. It is very well known amongst those who know what the hell they are talking about.

Yes I have heard that the jury is out if killing off the life in the sea is good or bad.

Actually, we flat out don't care. If screaming into the wind makes certain people feel better, by all means. They have the right. Just don't tax me to high heavens to fight your invisible ghost.

What you linked to is still all theoretical not fact. You should read some of the papers instead of just a website.

Your second statement is just a logical fallacy.

The northern pole has tilted towards the sun a small amount causing cooling on the Southern Hemisphere.

Clearly, the authorities of science, again, are not forthcoming with facts.

Oh goodness, isn't this sad. You don't know what a scientific theory is.

A theory is as close to scientific fact as it gets.

The corals certainly have been suffering.

    http://www.theguardian.com/environm...-in-most-pristine-parts-of-great-barrier-reef

And people as well. Climate change has contributed to severe droughts across the planet, especially in the Middle East.

    http://time.com/4246248/middle-east...-syrian-war-is-worst-in-900-years-study-says/

The US is also feeling the impact of drought. Nearly all American forests are threatened by the increased risk of wildfire and many western forests have already seen large tree die offs.

Humans aren't the only creatures on the planet. Coral reefs are a vital ecosystem not only for the life on the reefs, but for millions of people across the globe who depend on the sea for food and work. What happens when the already depleted fisheries collapse completely?

Are you really saying you don't give a (*)(*)(*)(*) about coral reefs? What about the forests that are burning up and dying off?

We are riding a bubble. Things might seem fine to you right now, but what happens when drought spreads and agriculture dries up? What happens when our GMO crops that lack genetic diversity are hit by the spread of disease? What happens when there isn't enough water to pump into raising the ridiculous amount of livestock Americans consume? Will you be worried then?

Yup other animals also benefit from a warmer climate and contribute to global warming as well. Some not so but most do. Even the polar bear population is growing

Some will benefit but far more will be hurt by it. The evidence is overwhelming
