President Trump meets with President Putin and all that I read is blah blah blah with nothing of any substance noted anywhere. It's the usual fake news characterizations from the same fake news and fake news sycophants offering the same dried up and smoked over pile of dung. Nowhere do I see a thoughtful analysis asking the one major question in a Trump/Putin summit: How could detente with Russia benefit or harm any interests of the USA? The short answer - there is no harm in reaching out; there is no harm in finding common interests; there is no harm in working on preventative measures to ensure that perceived or actual harms to either nation don't happen again. The American intelligence community says that there is no proof that the Russians did in fact hack the DNC computers - they say instead that the MO of the hacks fit the Russian style - that all indicators point toward a Russian operation. If there is no proof, should we continue to blame the Russians, why shouldn't we mend the broken fences and go on from here. Let's ask this simple question - if i work in the intelligence community and I hate President Trump the way that Mueller and Rosenstein and Strzok do, wouldn't it be great if I put together a package that made the Russians look guilty for a possible crime, possibly committed by some other possible entity and I set it up so that all of my fellow hate-Trumpers followed the same story line. Conspiracy theories abound - and without real evidence of wrong doing, there is no crime - there are only conspiracy theories. As an aside, in all of this, there is no mention of the Russian war with the Ukraine and the US commitment to provide the Ukraine with anti-tank missiles.
Hmmmm wasn't it the Messiah Obama who said he would talk with our enemies? I guess the liberals didn't want that to include Trump.
