i know no one is satisfied with the explanations. i know i am not. then again i don't have to be. but every person believing in something should be somehow satisfied with the facts of his belief. i can't express an opinion about the passages of the bible; which ones are from Allah (God) , which ones are man-made. it's not allowed in islam. we have been informed that the bible was the truth once, and that it has been altered like torah. thus, i can only respect your belief. but i encourage you to make more research as a fellow human. i kept myself away from quoting the qur'an in order to make the discussing going objectively and not to flame things. but i think it's time, to support and make you somehow understand my point of view... that's an odd challenge for any book, don't you think? "produce one surah" and gather everyone to help you". "you won't be able to do it". wanna hear something more interesting? not one surah like qur'an's has been produced for 1400 years. and the challenge is still up. thanks for good intentions and replies. sorry if i offended anyone.
It doesn't matter if your satisfied or not. Who cares? You say your koran has no contridictions. Of course not. It's a mans book, not God's. Such a shallow book, how could it? But, when one reads the Word of God, he can expect to have things that he doesn't understand, things he must pursue to know, things that appear as contridiction but are not. Offend? I read enough of them, but certainly not all. What you say is not any different than any other muslim or atheist. You bring a list of supposed contridictions in the Bible that you find on the internet. Hoping to cast some doubt on the Bible as the Word of God and at the same time trying to elevate muhammeds writings, the koran. Your typical as I said. Your not looking for answers from the Bible, from the Word of God. You simply try and discredit the Word of God. If every contridiction was answered to 'your satisfaction', you still wouldn't believe it. You would just look for more. I say, don't look any further. You have your contridictions. Some years ago.. I was dressing to have dinner with 60 Arab women in Arabia and I was very anxious to do the right thing and do well. I pressed my young interpreter.. "Am I dressed right, what are they like, how should I behave??" He looked at me in complete consternation and said... I don't know. I don't know any women outside my sisters, mother and aunts. It was a huge break through for me in realizing that if I wanted to connect with the Arabs and understand them... I had to suspend my Western assumptions.
You suspend a lot of things. I myself am not concerned about wanting to 'connect' with Arabs. Nor am I concerned with understanding them. I understand more than I want now. I will declare the Gospel of Jesus Christ to them. I don't need to understand them. Quantrill
walls can agree with me, just like you do. you trying to turn a thread to a muslim-christian flame debate only means three things: 1) you have no/few/biased knowledge of your own scripture (194 claims still standing, no answers by your side. "you don't need to answer to anyone"... sure) 2) you have no/few/biased knowledge of islam ("9/11 thought you everything you need to know about muslims"... sure) 3) even debates related to christianity is less important than islam (hate overcomes love, refer to the teachings of jesus (pbuh) for that.) as a side note; arabs are forming ~18% of muslims... be well.

(i'll give you a hint: grammar) so i simply put that they weren't satisfactory, for you to understand and elaborate and maybe provide proof, not self-justified views. my purpose was: to obtain information with proof, understand the christian pov, discuss matters in a civilized manner, discover what i don't know, show you an islamic perspective if necessary. i have my answers through a private message. a simple but reasonable and sincere approach. so for me there is no need to go any further in this thread. but the subject is open. if someone else wants to come forward; i'll be around insaAllah. until then; be well...
