Whipped cream, whipped topping ... quit your nit-pickin...

I love it on my pumpkin pie at Thanksgiving and that's about the only time I eat it - unless Ellen makes her cake and tops it w/whipped cream ... I mean topping.

Looks like there might be more alternatives for me to try, apart from eggs and bread. I am told there are certain food that irritate and inflame the gallbladder, and unlucky me, I am recovering from a severe bout of just that. Spent all day at hospital yesterday having test after test.

The website I visited says that only organic foods and meats should be eaten. Does that mean that I can eat organic eggs, or are they are same as ordinary eggs? :???:

I luv omelets and favorite is oyster omelet..... we used to have a restaurant that made oyster omelets that were perfect! High, fluffy, perfect omelet. My hunny & I must have eaten a couple thousand oyster omelets in that place. One time I asked for the recipe, but couldn't have it.

Then one day I ordered my oyster omelet and it was served to me flat, runny, gross.... I looked at the waitress and asked "What happened to my omelet?" The restaurant had changed cooks They lost 2 faithful customers.

Don't you hate it when they change cooks and you don't know about it until you have your meal? And you can tell immediately that there is a new chef?

I used to go to this amazing Irish restaurant, they made the most beautiful Irish stew, which I love. All meaty and thick with gravy and vegies. Then we went there again (this was years ago) and all I got was a bowl full of cauliflower and gravy and a few strands of meat. The waitress said they had a new chef, who was trying to make the stew like the old chef - but obviously wasn't having much luck.

I haven't been back there since.

Gallbladder? Well, be prepared to have it taken out one of these days.

I gave up mine several yrs ago...... actually, nothing to the laser surgery. Had it done on a Thursday, took Friday off from work and Monday was back at work, feeling fine.....

From what I understand about organic foods - it's a big, unnecessary expense.

Roadkill..an alternative we all may be forced into soon. With decent beef and pork reaching $8-9 per pound...Bar-B-Qued roadkill may be just the ticket. Here's a hint; spend some time searching along those country roads for the 'fresh stuff'. Try to avoid the 'stuff' that's been 'sun dried'. Although sun-dried tomatoes are tasty, that rule doesn't hold true for sun-dried roadkill. But if forced to consume it, be sure to marinate it first..at least for a few hours..so get out there early for the good stuff.
