I had Lasik eye surgery and I no more need to have coke jug thick glasses. I just require 1.00 or 1.25 amplification in a light combine of con artists and can work for hours on a machine with minor print. I can see much better now than I have ever had the capacity to see in my entire life.

I think it would be cool if we had smart lenses in our glasses that could key off of an effort by the eyes' muscles to focus in a certain manner, depending on distance to the object and the eye lens's inability to focus the image on the retina, and then deform the glasses' geometry in the appropriately manner to reduce the error from the muscle signals.

I believe it..people use the emergency room for non emergencies so they can get free care. No one is turned away regardless of their lack of ability to pay or lack of insurance. They also make a triage nurse's job a nightmare.

I wasn't a burden on the ER nurse, I'm used to doing this as I don't have health insurance so I know the tricks. You have to go in Monday morning when there is nobody in the ER.

I had everyone taking care of me promptly, from the CT scanner to the Nurse it was like I was wealthy for 3 hours.

What if you get a non emergency on Friday afternoon..? Are you still going to go to the ER for your 3 hours of wealth..

I don't trust the health clinics, their run by wackos. I rather the full resources of a hospital, I got a free CT scan.

we don't have an issue with cost here as our UHC takes care of that but people still overload the ER's with non ER issues, someone who has symptoms for many days has had ample opportunity to go to their own MD or a walk in clinic...

Contrary to popular belief it was not free. You may not have had to pay but someone else did. Nothing is free someone pays.
