Cosby admits he bought drugs to give women for sex

I'll agree with you up to a point on this much, that Hollywood sure seems to be much harder on Cosby than it is on Woody Allen and Roman Polanski - both of whom have many supporters amongst the Hollywood Half-Wits. But Cosby is a Democrat, and a supporter of Obama.

There was a fundamental difference between a couple using Quaaludes for personal (sexual) enjoyment and a person using them as a "date rape" drug. It was no different than getting a woman so drunk that you could rape her. Cosby was raping women and using drugs to incapacitate them so that they could not resist his sexual advances.

Quaalude is a GUARANTEED panty remover. It was big in the 70's. Its a "drunken" kinda high for guys, but for girls it also revs up their libido and removes just about every inhibition. Memory is usually blurry but not all together gone. This particular "side effect" made it a very high demand drug for a few years before the authorities got wise and took it off the market.

I can see how some people would wish to experiment with a drug like that. In the case of consenting adults, it should be no big deal.

There's a huge chasm between that scenerio and some scumbag "dosing" a person to obtain sex.

 

True, hate the fact that some of his movies are my all time favorite, but he is a grade A scumbag.

Bill Cosby has been reduced to just a common criminal, I guess he can no longer be the man that conservatives can trot out front when they want to attack black.

 

As the decades rolled by, how could she NOT know something wasn't quite right w/him? Another Jerry Sandusky's type of wife - just close your eyes and pretend everything is hunky-dory..... don't want the luxurious lifestyle and $$$ disturbed. That's what it boils down to.

 

You're playing the victim for someone else, someone who literally admitted to drugging and raping women.

Obviously he was previously given a by due to his
"status", turns out the women were telling the truth, but due to our legally system he can't face charges. What a crock. But, I don't think there is a statute of limitations on a civil suit, is there?

 

Because they were just kids and had no one to go to for help, not to mention being intimidated by Sandusky, the 'great' coach and possibly threatened by him if they told. And kids know nothing law, pressing charges, etc......

That's what I'd like to know. The story from 2005 really isn't clear, but as I understood it, a woman pressed charges, under questioning, he admitted he bought quaaludes to drug women he wanted to have sex with, money exchanged hands and the court records were sealed.

It would be hard to surprise someone with a quallude. It's not a small pill.

I haven't kept up with all the details of Cosby's escapades, but do remember that at least a couple of his accusers stated they were partying at the Playboy mansion and some others that admitted taking drugs voluntarily. Kinda makes it hard to see them as victims.

 

No instead we will "trot out": Hermain Cain, Dr. Ben Carson, Condi Rice, Clarence Thomas, Allen West, Larry Elder, Walter Whitman, J.C. Watts, etc... etc... etc....

Well, apparently he felt they wouldn't consent stone sober, so he drugged them...... then no problem. I had heard there was also a15 yr old he drugged.......

It's worse than 'sad' that he did this to all those women who trusted him - it's downright SICK! More proof that you never know what's really behind the face of a 'pleasant, kind and friendly guy and in this case, again another pervert was lurking........

 

Its pretty obvious Bill Cosby is guilty...now its just a matter of HOW guilty. The media crap and public opinion is no place to work out the specifics.

Were any of you around back then? The mid-late 70's? Drugs were rampant as was sex. I gave lots of girls quualudes, all different kinds of them, I took them too. The girls wanted to take them. Heck you get some and get on the phone and call them and tell them you had them let's go to the concert and yeah I was hoping we'd have sex later. She just the mere "he bought quualudes to give the girls to have sex with them' needs a little context here.

If he gave them to them WITHOUT THEIR KNOWLEDGE, that was wrong and a crime.
If he gave them to them and tried for sex and they said no and he raped them and that is a crime.
If they passed out and did not give consent and he had sex with them while they were passed out that is crime.

But everyone knew that quualudes = sex. Great sex. Boys and girls. Other downers just put you down but quualudes made for good sex.

So what exactly happened here and what proof does the woman have? He wasn't charged at the time because she didn't press charges and the statute of limitations has run out on making them now. She is suing the lawyers for defamation for what they said about her from what I understand. As I said, him saying yes he bought quualudes to have sex with women on it's face in the context of the times ain't much to charge with anything, the mere fact you had some got women to come over to take them and have sex with you.

I haven't seen where he has admitted raping women, can you point me to that I'd like to read it. I know women have charged him with it, but where has he admitted it.

 

EXACTLY, drugs were rampant as was the sex back then. So what exactly happened with this woman, Cosby merely saying he bought quualudes because he wanted to have sex with women, will so did LOTS of guys back then and the women loved it when you did.

'Obvious' is right.....the men I've known - there's no way any of those men would have stayed silent if accused of drugging and raping women - no way! They would have been demanding solid proof, dates, places - even a polygraph from the woman.......

To remain silent when accused of this crime screams volumes....

Not to mention way to many women have come forward.

 

Uh---------------what is the difference between giving a woman drugs, or getting her falling down drunk on alcohol, to have sex with her??????
