Amend the Constitution.

It is the exercise of a right the state shall not infringe upon.

 

The Nazis went door to door confiscating guns, if you had lied to them about possessing firearms, they would execute you on the spot.

 

No one is infringing on any "right"........... but it might be time for all gun enthusiasts to evaluate just why they feel they need to possess them.

So WHY exactly do folks feel they need to possess them??

What are they afraid of??(real / and or imagined)

Now.....if folks are wiling to admit that this country has been built o/with violence..... and that continues in all factors of "American" life. Movies. real life.......violence is part of the US culture. Violence is a natural progression of aggression.........and this nation IS aggressive. impatient and very intolerant.
So when one lives in a violent country......... it followers that weapons come into play. Then the cycle of violence/ weapons continues to reinforce itself.

Hunting??..........No one needs to KILL to eat anymore........and killing for"sport". (pleasure ).....is almost barbaric. (very sadistic)

Guns/ weapons have become a psychological dependency........ for many. They have been programmed by a violence culture to believe to live in one fear or another........to support their NEED for weapons.
This is why mass shootings and other weapons atrocities.......don't bother folks too much..........and certainly not enough to do anything about it.........And if any group tires....... they are soon shutdown....
An unfortunate factor is that many don't THINK beyond the "right" factor. They don't question the validity of such a right and its negative consequences.........becasue they don't WANT to. They LIKE their weapons......They like owning them. They like bragging about them............and they like the feeling o f "power" that weapons given them. They find the whole notion of not having weapons intolerable....&...frightening,

So any possibility of some realistic weapons rules............is a nonstarter.

every time a government in the USA has tried to ban currently owned guns or demanded people register currently owned guns, the rate of compliance is less than 20%. Banning guns would result in well armed millions of people who would not comply. That's not going to lead to a safer or more peaceful society. The fact is, most of those who want gun bans are left-wing activists and their goal is not public safety but banning guns

 

not far-its unconstitutional and most people know that senile joe is all about banning guns rather than cracking down on violent criminals (who rarely vote but when the do-support democrats)

Not everyone is qualified for gun ownership. People with handicaps might not be capable of handling a weapon. Some folks should never have weapons........and that is a fact. So strict background checks (as one "rule") are critical.......and should be through.
Almost every mass shooter had a history of mental problems..........That is a giant clue ......that something abut the system is very flawed.
