The proof is in the herd of stupid people? I mean, I'm sorry but I have to be blunt: Those who overreacted and brought toilet paper, have made the crisis worse not better. And I do think Cuomo is an idiot, not necessarily for this step, but for the fact that he didn't do it before. Like, immediately.

For any viral control to be effective, you have to use it on hot spots specifically. New York, California and Washington became hot spots. It was the job of their governors to actually...govern.

So for all their bleating about Trump, their leadership is ineffective as well but you don't hear anyone complaining about their lack of response.

What's the point of our federally separate powers if those in governor, etc command don't take charge? Do they really need babying from Trump on everything?

I am NOT a Trump supporter.

 

I like Cuomo’s briefings and prefer the state level briefings to the Federal. The Governor’s view is from the ground and there isn’t much separation when listening to a Cuomo (NY), Dewine(OH), Inslee (WA), Newsome(CA), or Hansen(MD).

At the Federal level the dissembling is clear and will go as far to say it is a feature of the Federal briefing across the board.

In this circumstance I’m clearly in the knowledge camp and appreciate as much information as possible. Information doesn’t foster panic but provides comfort. However I understand that isn’t the case for everyone so I do get the varying reactions.

If you will possessing knowledge isn’t black and white for example, I believe I could be completely comfortable living in ignorance of my death date.

In a sense that is what is playing out here. Rather than a mental exercise we’re finding out in real time where we fit on the knowledge/ignorance scale. Then again there is a lot of cognitive dissonance rationalizing, it’s a Chinese, MSM, Liberal conspiracy. Plus Trump’s perpetual excuse for himself, ‘the dog ate my homework’.

I think all of the numbers are there publicly online, here we're tracking it with two math experts. But the job of governing a society is to be sober, collected and at the same time to bring assurance. "Be vigilant." is not an assuring message ROFL. And neither is repeating the numbers and declaring people are afraid(the goading question.)

He's as corrupt as the rest. He had real-time data as early as March 4th, and he just SAT there. We could've had a limited quarantine of the most hard hit areas, immediately and thus not only limited the damage but allowed our economy to mostly hum(quarantining NY/Wash/Cali would've been a blow, but one that would need less of a stimulus.)

Now we're all in the same boat because of those 3 States.

 

So let me get this straight; Trump gets blasted in the thread about him hammering a reporter because he didn't say enough to calm people down. Cuomo, tells us we're all going to die and libs defend that action.
