I don't think being meek and obedient is always a good thing... it ensures status quo. Tyrans love it when their people are meek and obedient.

If you Yanks had always been that M'n'O, you would still be an English colony as we speak... like Canada.

The details have a lot of similarities with Michael Brown. Gaynier had a police record. The police had been called because he had just (allegedly) committed a crime. He was unarmed, but not complying with the officers demands. Gaynier didn't assault the officer, but he made a gesture that alarmed the officer that he could be going for a weapon.

The reaction of the public is completely different from that of Ferguson, MO. Should we be protesting in the streets over this guy in Dallas?

Texans have more sense obviously. After St. Louis turns into just another Detroit and the decent folks have longed since moved to the perimeter...

Same thing happened to East St. Louis...a long-time highest muder rate per capita in the U.S. It's simply a no go area for 95% of the citizens in the St. Louis greater metropolitan vicinity and no one cares what happens to it; it could burn to the ground and I doubt anyone would notice.

Texans have more sense than to destroy their own neighborhoods.

Ferguson is quickly becoming a no go zone. Restaurants, businesses will move out, decent people will sell, get what they can and move out....leaving a dwindling tax base to support the police/fire/public works departments.

    It's all downhill from here.

    Texas knows better.
