I believe people have the right to practice their constitutional rights in the USA without threat of being assaulted.

An Arab Muslims asked him if he was a Christian and he answered, no I'm an Atheist. Just watch the video. When the Arab Muslim heard the photographer was Atheist he was shocked I tell you shocked.

I believe that their are people who intentionally aggravate these kinds of ideas and bait/troll conversations such as this along irrationally with no intention whatsoever of hearing any objection or reason. I believe they are merely morally baseless people who like to use morality when it is convenient for them. If I showed you a video of Christians attacking Muslim's constitutional rights, you would just say it was propaganda, liberal whatever, or some other kind of blow-off.

Kind sir or madam, I specifically have stated in this thread that there is no excuse for violence. I think that perhaps you have erroneously mischaracterized my position.

People were attacked, not just their rights. Show the video if you have it.

I don't see the problem. Christians are standing up to followers of the anti-Christ. Practicing free speech. One has a microphone why can't both sides have one.

Everyone is entitled to preach their message in their designated area. No problem. The only problem is when one faction demands the other shut up. Muslims are going to have to grow up if they want to live in the USA.

Oh my, where was this in your video? Could it be Muslim's have a reason to be angry? No, they are just acting savage again.

    Muslim's should just grow up.

I agree. The muslims are going to have to grow up and realize everyone in America has the right to express their opinion.

That's an American idea. We are a "melting pot" and always have been. Live and let live.

Muslims already live in the US, and I would venture to say some of them are US citizens. I am not sure why their living in the US would be dependent on an internet poster's version of what being "grown up" actually is.

My idea of being "grown up" is allowing people you disagree with the freedom to speak without threat of violence.

    What do you think?

    Sounds reasonable.

Shall we also extend that to letting folks get together with like minded people without being subject to the bigotry and harassment others? I mean if a bunch of Muslim protestors went to a Saint Patrick' gathering, stood outside, and called the attendants all sorts of names that would be in poor form, though constitutionally allowable, correct?

In a free society, everyone's free speech has to be tolerated, even when you don't like it. When you start taking sides because of the content, then you're heading towards tyranny and away from liberty

When I drive down a street in the city and I see a sign advertising XXX movies, can I stop my car and walk in and demand they take their sign down because it offends me?

Besides dude, it isn't an Arab Islamic festival. It's an Arab festival which means non Muslims too.

So we are in agreement. Muslims should be allowed to protest gatherings of cultures and abuse them with words and signs with no repercussions, correct?

Okay. I believe I noted earlier in the thread that it was an Arab festival, not an Islamic festival.
