Ok...I don't know if anyone has done this or if the mods will even allow it, but I thought a thread allowing members to comment while the debate is ongoing would be worth trying as long as every one stays civil. Many of us disagree on the candidates but there is no reason to flamebait, insult, or go off topic. What do you as members think?
I was going to create one, but you beat me to it . We had primary threads for both the Democratic/Republican debates. So, yeah why not let's use this one. I'm looking forward to seeing if Trump can A: Remain consistent but also B: Take on Hillary in her supposed "strong areas". If he can knock back the absurd presumption that she's the candidate on the issues, the undecideds will go more for Trump and we would have avoided the disaster that is a President Hillary Clinton. A president Donald Trump still has challenges. But he's not Hillary Clinton, and that's enough for me.
I saw the Clinton van arrive. Bill ran in and Hillary fell behind. I hear her "mini-podium" will morph into a wheel chair if needed.
And since I'm feeling quite jolly spirited, in agreeing with the thread I for my part will refrain from any negative political comments. Republican posters, Democratic posters and everyone in-between. Tonight, we're all Americans judging candidates to be our president. I come in peace
Eh, the bar's set kinda low for either one but it WILL at least be an interesting watch. And this thread will likely be a lot more interesting than the debate!
I saw her walking slowly - I think she was trying to present an image of casual calm. Trump would characterize it as 'low energy'.
ROFL. I never would've imagined MSNBC admitting this on LIVE TV, but the Clinton Campaign basically just said: Thank god for Trump, because we haven't been able to get anybody. What a THING to admit to this highly televised debate.
Agreed. It is not what she wants to see but what she will do. - - - Updated - - - Hillary looks like a bobble head.
She didn't even bother to answer. Meanwhile, Trump at least answered the question, but with his boilerplate about China, Mexico and so on...
