I can repeat my post if you like. There are many ways somone can be removed from power. A invasion and ten year war is only one of the choices.....and the worst one.

It authorized the use of our military force to remove Saddam from power which she wholeheartedly supported and advocated.

And BTW the inspectors said Saddam was not cooperating as required and of course we found all his proscribed materials that the inspectors never found and with which he would have quickly rearmed his chemical and biological WMD arsenals. The need to remove Saddam did not begin and end with the WMD that UNSCOM had cataloged and were in the process of destroying when Saddam kicked them out you know. He would always be a threat as long as he was in power, just go read the Democrat statements at the time.

What was your plan then? The sanctions were about to be lifted, the no fly zones ended and him left to do what he pleased. Clinton's plan failed, Bush succeeded.

it authorized to keep the option for war on the table, Bush was the decider that would decide if we go to war, after inspectors found no WMD, Bush and only Bush decided to go to war anyways

It authorised THE USE OF OUR MILITARY FORCE to remove Saddam PERIOD. And she supported that act of doing so and spoke of the necessity to do so. The UN inspectors had already reported that he was not fully ccoperating in his last chance to do so. And of course that was fully justified with what we found he was hiding.
