Not whine but rather make fun of. And not all atheists, mind you. Rather just those atheists that consistently a) cry about how pushy and intolerant Christians are and then b) make thread after thread in which they themselves act like pushy, intolerant asshats. I find the hypocrisy an amusing diversion from the important things to do on the Internet like read about SWTOR or Skyrim.

Honestly, It never mentioned the number of kings. It's a common mistake though, even among Christians.

    In Matthew 2:1

1 Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the east came to Jerusalem.

The 3 kings represent the 3 gifts given to Jesus: gold, frankincense and myrrh.
    Matthew 2:11

As with all mythlogy, things in the mythology change over time.

Do you recognize that when you make posts like these but then make posts about how pushy Christians are, then you are doing the exact thing that you complain about?

Dude, just admit it. Your conjecture is off because you made a common mistake of equating three gifts to three kings. Your post is pure fantasy. It has no actual basis or proof behind it. It is just your thoughts on some interesting coincidences.

More ad hom 'bull(*)(*)(*)(*)'. That avatar doesn't fit you any more.

Horus, Buddha, Mithra, Krishna : all four had wise men or kings that followed the brightest star in the east to the supposed son whatever god they belong too. The tale of 3 kings or wise men or gifts comes from the fact that orions belt lines up with Siruis on Dec 25th.

    Get off your high horse.

    coincidences :fart:

There have been many books written about the constellations, the stars, and all being "God's Clock" that He has put into the sky/universe as signs with particular times:

    Psalm 147:4 (New International Version)
"He determines the number of the stars and calls them each by name."

Then one can plainly see that religion is rooted in mythology and astrology and nothing more. Of course that is the conclusion that those of us who can actually think for ourselves will come up with. The sheeple on the other hand.......

    BTW: 12 disciples, 12 zodiac signs....hmmm

You obviously 'missed' or most likely 'overlooked' my many discussions on Biblical Types & Shadows of things of the physical as being types of those in the spiritual realm. Just as scripture has stated that "He has revealed Himself in His creation," there are many scriptural types pointing to future spiritual events (including over several early religions) as validation of His plans. The most obvious example was Abraham, the OT father of many nations, sacrificing his only 'son of the promise of God' as a type of God sacrificing His only 'begotten' Son, etc. But, as you mentioned, also the 12 tribes of the promise of the covenant with Abraham thru Jacob, and the 12 disciples as the new covenant foundation thru Jesus Christ, etc.

If one reads the total of the Holy scriptures, cover-to-cover, looking for the Spirit of consistency and harmony behind them, they will most obviously see the 'red thread' of the "Lamb slain from the foundation of the world" as fallen man being redeemed by the sacrifice of the spotless (sinless) son of man/Son of God.

But, if 'one' reads them as 'dead letters of ink printed on paper pages' they will miss the main message..

    :bored:

Spare me the BS. Every messiah since Horus, is the same BS.....'gods' only son being sent down to die for sins :blahblah:

As stated before, those who can still think for themselves can see this. The Sheeple cannot since you are possessed by this nonsense.

I get the fact that humans are spiritual creatures. Try Buddhism. Might do ya some good, like allowing you to think for yourself.

Let me just finalize my thoughts of this thread (I'm not one to waste time perpetually rebutting as a game like some on here do of my persuasion) so that you might understand a fundamental 'truth:'

"Just because someone dismisses a 'truth' does not make it invalid."

That pretty much can be applied to all your posts and all your threads that attack scripture & Christianity...they are but vain opinions and futile thoughts.

Sounds like whining....Everything that 'calls you out' you call an ad hom!

There has never been anyone 'won' to the Gospel by arguing with them! Scripture says, "Come let us reason together." But to the one who is 'unreasonable,' may just do what Paul said and shake the dust off of your feet and move on. You are the unreasonable one, and a better scripture tailored for me in addressing you would be, "When a wiseman joins a fool in his folly, he becomes as the fool." Or, tailored for this forum, "...joining a fool in his rebutting...."

Once again, you resort to one of two things:

    1 - ad homs
    2 - scripture

Cannot think for yourself. Pretty sad.

I use scripture and you use.....???? Oh yeah, your vain, biased opinions!

As has been said, a pic is worth a 1K words, and this scripture (yes, AGAIN!) says it all:

That's it....I'm done with your folly....

    vain opinons?

So I guess the facts such as the sun sits at the lowest part in the sky from Dec 22nd - 24th is my mere opinion.

So I guess the facts such as the sun rises1 degree to the north on Dec 25th is just my mere opinion.

So I guess the facts such as the star Sirius lines up with the rising on the 25th, along with the 3 stars in Orion’s belt. This while in the vicinity of the southern cross. That’s just my opinion right?

I guess it just my onion that Horus, Jesus, and other messiahs are all born on Dec 25th, all died on a cross and after 3 days were resurrected. That’s just my humble opinion right?

I guess the Virgin Mary being inspired by the constellation Virgo is just an opinion right?

I guess the constellation Virgo also being know as the house of bread because of the symbol holding some wheat, is just my mere opinion.

I guess the fact that Bethlehem translated to English is 'house of breed' is just my mere opinion.

It just a mere coincident that Jesus was born in Bethlehem of a virgin mary right? That just my mere opinion right?

If you want to be tricked into believing bull(*)(*)(*)(*), I cant stop you. All I can show you that you being fooled. But for you to say all I posted in vain biased opinions is a complete and uttered nonsense by you.

    I'll await either:

1 – more ad homs or
    2 – more scripture.

That all you got. That’s all sheeple have.
