    Or any of this:

You have yet to address one single point in this thread yet. Not one.

Very simply, it wasnt worth responding to!

I posted a long narrative of constellations, stars, etc. that was all encompassing of scripture and the heavens. But you are too anal in your thinking to understand the total of how it affects signs and the coming of of Biblical events. Sorry, but your self-imposed scotoma is beyond even 'my' explanation and enlightening skills....didnt mean to rub it in, but "you asked for it!"
You can, of course, continue in your sad, self-induced tantrum, or better go away to whine, er I mean, fight another day...I only continued humoring you as my being a 'nice guy' and having pity on you in having no life but this forum....but enuf is enuf! Run off, sport...

    REVIEW: Read in April, 2007

It seems that most Christians are quick to condemn astrology without having any knowledge of the other side. I never really thought about how the story of the stars was actually God's story first. Each of the twelve chapters goes through a zodiac sign and what the author believes the story of those particular stars originally meant by God. This book is definitely an interesting read, and probably one that I'll have to read through a few more times in order to absorb it all. I will say that I had a hard time reading the scripture references in the book because they were old school (KJV), but other than that, it was a pretty fast and easy read.

Buddha's birthday isn't celebrated on or believed to be December 25th,by some traditions, it's May 8th, and there was no star or angels at his birth by any tradition.

The only Mithra texts suggesting 'sheppards' (kings/whatever) only exist from the 2nd century A.D.

Horus was given three different birth dates in mythology, one of them was December 25th,although there's no evidence that this date was applied to Horus in pre-Christian times.

According to Krisna World, Krishna was born on the "8th day of the dark half of the month of Sravana. This corresponds to July 19th 3228 BC." (Other sites say he was born in August.)

I noticed, but I didn’t feel the need to respond, since what I would say would just for flying over your head.

However, astrology has been used far longer in human history than when christianity was founded:

    Historical Astrology In Egypt

To sit here and steal the zodiac signs for christianity just shows how desperate and brainwashed you are.

Yes Rstones, I have seen that before ...

I didn't even need to click on that link to know precisely where it would take me either.

"D. M. Murdock, better known by her pen name Acharya S., is an author and proponent of the Christ myth theory."

In short Rstones, her claims go without support. Not all of them, but the majority that I have seen.

When I posted on the eschatology between Catholicism and Hinduism there were some similarities.

Buddha's mother also said she was impregnated by the gods in a dream.

Rstones, I just wrote a decent post about this, hit the 'backspace' button on my computer and it knocked me off the post and lost what I wrote.. LOL ugh .. I Hate when that happens ..

Yes, to say there are no similarities would seem to put one in the denial category but be wary of that chart. I.e 'Foster Father' "Seb" (Geb) there is no connection between the Egyptian name “Seb” and the Hebrew name “Joseph.” But even if one deludes themselves to say "close enough," Seb wasn't even Horus' Father, he was Osiris’ father.

...Horus was born in a swamp .. lol I'm to lazy to write anymore Mr. Rstones, I hope you do have a good Holiday .. :date:
