    The drugs they give to dementia patients would not, in any way, enable them to give a speech to the nation.

    TRaitor tRump has made that challenge, President Biden will meet it.
    Some time between the National Conventions and the Election.

    I think the 2024 Presidential debates will be the Cognitive test American's can hang their hat on. Vote for the man with the better obvious cognition. 8)

    He was never going to convince the republican base, of course, but for independents who were concerned for his mental capacity, this one seems like a win. There's still a long campaign ahead, but it's hard to deny this was a win and I'd be surprised if it didn't move the needle, at least temporarily.

    Lol, it is going to be ugly. Trump has become loonier over time, and Biden is very, very slow on his feet mentally, if the SOTU is any indication. I wasn't very impressed, though he did do better than I expected. But a speech is one thing, a debate is totally different. Between the two of those clowns there will be a goldmine of meme material, and not much else. It was a pathetic matchup the first time around. Now, it is far, far more sad. I'm sure the rest of the world will have a good laugh at us.

    Absolutely which is why I find all the empty boasting on the Left amusing. When the mere act of delivering a speech constitutes a victory you've lowered the bar so far you're only impressing yourself, and all of that is going to be completely forgotten the next time people go to the grocery store or gas station.

    Who said anything about dementia drugs? My mom died of dementia. Right up to the end she had good days and bad days. An hour and half proves nothing.

    A strong performance indeed. He nailed it! He addressed exactly the right points. I know some are not happy with his stance on immigration. But those ARE his positions. Only in a cult can you find a politician with whom people agree on everything. So it was actually refreshing to know that there are things in which I don't see eye to eye with Biden.
