I think you may be misinterpreting the latest idea that oil already present is "smeared" across the strata by tectonic forces. Or I may be wrong, Google it, if you can find something that backs you up please get back to me.

Right, the God-Emperor did it, therefore it's fine because the God-Emperor can do no wrong.

I'm pretty sure earth's crust is constantly recycling itself. As crust is thrust into the mantel, the mantel cooks it and produces grease(oil).

McCabe abruptly cancelled his testimony before the House Intelligence Committee. McCabe canceled on the panel over fears he would be asked about recently demoted Justice Department official Bruce Ohr’s wife, who worked for Fusion GPS during the 2016 presidential election.

McCabe’s testimony came amid speculation he was aware of Peter Strzok and Lisa Page’s anti-Trump bias.

    [IMG]Bret Baier

    ✔@BretBaier

Text-from Peter Strzok to Lisa Page (Andy is Andrew McCabe): "I want to believe the path u threw out 4 consideration in Andy's office-that there's no way he gets elected-but I'm afraid we can't take that risk. It's like an insurance policy in unlikely event u die be4 you're 40"

    6:32 AM - Dec 13, 2017

In August, ABC News reported that Strzok quit Team Mueller for unknown reasons.

“It’s unclear why Strzok stepped away from Mueller’s team of nearly two dozen lawyers, investigators and administrative staff. Strzok, who has spent much of his law enforcement career working counterintelligence cases and has been unanimously praised by government officials who spoke with ABC News, is now working for the FBI’s human resources division,” reported Mike Levine.

Department of Justice has since launched a review of Peter Stzrok’s role in the Hillary Clinton email investigation.

    Fox News reports:

Two senior Justice Department officials have confirmed to Fox News that the department’s Office of Inspector General is reviewing the role played in the Hillary Clinton email investigation by Peter Stzrok, a former deputy director for counterintelligence at the FBI who was removed from the staff of Special Counsel Robert S. Mueller III earlier this year, after Mueller learned that Strzok had exchanged anti-Trump texts with a colleague.

Reacting to Strzok’s ‘anti-Trump,’ texts, House Intelligence Committee chairman Devin Nunes (R-CA) said, “We now know why Strzok was dismissed, why the FBI and DOJ refused to provide us this explanation, and at least one reason why they previously refused to make [FBI] Deputy Director [Andrew] McCabe available to the Committee for an interview.”

Now Lying Crooked Andy is running for the hills hoping he can last eighty days and draw his full taxpayer funded pension.

If you are basing everything you have as something as tenuous as that then you have nothing at all of any substance to attack McCabe with.

Where is your evidence that he agreed with any of that? What does another agent's wife have to do with anything that McCabe has ever done worthy of firing him?

    Nothing, nada, zip, zero, zilch!

Not one single thing directly implicating McCabe himself so this is just another sordid alt right partisan witch hunt.

    MMMMMM!

CNBC: A nightmare for Democrats: Trump is getting more credit for the economy. “President Donald Trump’s overall approval rating in most polls is creeping up lately ... voters are starting to become more positive about the economy and more willing to give Trump the credit for it.”

Weird: Democrats’ Generic Ballot Lead Shrinks To Just Three Points After 16-Point Lead In February.

For some reason Pelosi’s “yes, we will definitely raise taxes” message isn’t working for her? It worked great for President Mondale.

This is big news. CNN’s data is picking up the start of yet another broad trend towards the GOP on the generic ballot. With tighter numbers virtually all vulnerable Senate incumbents hailing from the Democrat side, the outlook on Republicans holding the Senate just keeps getting brighter.

About six months out from Election Day, 47% of registered voters say they back the Democratic candidate in their district, 44% back the Republican…

The Democrats’ advantage in the generic ballot dipped from 16 points in February to six points in March to just three points now. The party’s advantage has waned among enthusiastic voters as Republican enthusiasm has grown (in March, 36% of Republican and Republican-leaning registered voters said they were very enthusiastic about voting; that’s up to 44% in the new poll), but the Democrats still have a double-digit lead among those most excited to vote this fall (53% of those who are very enthusiastic about voting say they’d back the Democrat in their district vs. 41% who say they favor the GOP candidate).
That masterful staging by the Reality TV star in cooperation with North Korea, secretly brokered by Dennis Rodman, what a masterful piece of stagecraft, I haven't seen it's match since Ronaldus Maximus tricked the Soviets into thinking we had mastered Star Wars defense.

Whatever the case, it's clear the improving GOP poll numbers lately is a peace dividend from Trump’s outreach to North Korea. People are impressed that a guy who seems to spend most of his waking hours watching Fox News and trolling on Twitter may just be onto something in terms of getting Kim Jong Un to stand down. As views of POTUS improve, the idea of leaving the GOP in charge of Congress is getting much more comfortable too, why mess with what's working?

And of course, broad trends in polling always have something to do with the economy:

On more traditional issue priorities, voters are now more apt to say the nation’s economy will be an important factor in their vote than they were in February (84% call it extremely or very important now, up from 79% in February), with immigration (from 72% important to 76% now) and taxes (from 67% important to 73% now) are also on the rise.
More Americans thinking the country is doing well than at any time since 2007. That’s also a metric that depends heavily on the economy, of course. People like what they’re seeing economically and more want it to continue. When you control all of government and the economy’s humming, you’re tough to beat!

Here’s the last generic-ballot poll from CNN, taken in March:

And here’s the same question today:

Voters don't go straight from Dem to GOP, they move to "other" first.

If Dems are smart they do not want impeachment...yet. Trump represents the golden Tri-fecta.

    Election fodder.
    Legislative ammunition.
    An easy target.

The fun will begin after November and Christmas should be Merry.

It is the House that matters because if the GOP lose that then their entire agenda falls apart.

Conceding the Senate, already? Aren't they the folks that confirm judges? Trump will still have his pen and his phone!

The Senate will depend on a great many factors that are still TBD at this stage.

With the House the writing on the wall is clear enough for about 40 republicans to already bail out and call it quits rather than go into an election they can't win.

Trump is more popular than Congress and three times more popular than the media. People seem to ignore that.

Impeachment would not do what the dems want. Clinton was impeached and still went on to help dismantle the FDR economic model.

So of course they want impeachment, but also for the senate to remove trump from office. For if anyone thinks trump would ever resign, like nixon, forget about it! We should know by now trump would fight it to his last breath, and probably take down others with him, democrats. For I would bet that the NSA has the goods on enough dems, to put them in prison, if only they searched for it. A by product of this national security state, this post 1984 america.

And when the dems screamed and hollered about a weaponized NSA, all trump would say is, well you guys used the IRS against republicans, and now the chikuns' have come home to roost. Or do not do to others what you do not want done to you! If only the dems had stuck to the golden rule! ha ha

Impeachment may charge up their base of loons, but if NORMAL people see Democrats' ONLY purpose is to tie up govt and waste everyone's time...the proof will be in the pudding. Go roll those dice. Maybe the crumbs will be enough for everyone? Or, Democrats can promise free education and jobs for everyone, with a nice dose of amnesty for all and see how that pans out? ;)

If the dems win the house they will impeach Trump just as the republican house impeached Clinton. But that doesn't get Trump out of office any more than the former effort got Clinton out of office. To remove the president a 2/3 majority of the senate would be needed for removal. That certainly won't happen. It will make the dems feel better but won't help their cause in any way. Clinton's impeachment didn't help the republicans.

The good news is "impeachment" has consumed the Democratic Party, so they've temporarily abandoned discussing their anti-American priorities.

Impeachment takes up all the oxygen in the room.

To remove trump from office, the Dems need to win 20 of the 8 GOP senate seats up for election in 2018.

    Oh. So sorry.
