He does seem to get a freebie on both spamming and trolling.

    400,000 Deportations last year.

WASHINGTON—A report published today revealed the Obama administration has a record of deporting nearly 400,000 immigrants last year, many for minor traffic infractions.

“The record level of deportations is a moral catastrophe for our nation,” said Deepak Bhargava, executive director of the Center for Community Change. “The current deportation practice is separating families, driving breadwinners out of jobs, and sending a statement to immigrant communities that America is not a land of opportunity and fairness.”

I voted yes but I wasn't serious because this is a troll thread and every thread this OP starts is flame-bait.

Can I be deported to Canada so I can get health care and not go bankrupt if I get really sick or old?

Lol, I get a thread banned for asking if the Tea Party members have been to college, yet this guy gets to make threads about deporting Obama supporters.

The Mod's here seem fairly conservative if you ask me!!

That's an excellent point. I put the both of you at about the same level on the troll scale. If you were banned then he should be too.

You'll come out a Democrat. I remember going in to college a huge George Bush supporting conservative. Then you start learning that they are idiots and controlled by a group of wealthy power hungry Republican's who aren't conservative whatsoever. You guys get brainwashed with social issues that never change. Congrats on taking the first step to becoming educated!

Maybe he will come out a Democrat...unless he's capable of thinking for himself...

First step? I've been in college for 2 years. I am wealthy and I earned it. You will not see me a Democrat. I am going to become a professor, and if God is my witness I will not be moved. :)

    Speaking of brainwashing....

Yes, he will come out of college against evolution, against global warming, and against economics.

I'm pretty sure if he sits down and learns anything, he will start to realize how dumb conservatives really are.

It's funny isn't it? She went into college a staunch Bush supporter and then came out a staunch Democrat, and now she wants to lecture others about being brainwashed! :-D

Someone here is easily swayed by indoctrination but it doesn't seem to be you.

It has nothing to do with being educated or not. It has to do with what seems to be a tendency you have to be easily swayed. You said yourself that you were a "huge George Bush supporting conservative". Does that not suggest to you that perhaps you're predisposed to naivety? You're a follower.

What I don't understand is why people who are conservative also generally take positions like homosexual isn't a choice, evolution is a farce, and global warming is a hoax. You can be a conservative (in the sense of the word, GRADUAL CHANGE, a true conservative) and believe homosexuality is genetic, evolution probably happened, and climate change is occurring. If I were a conservative this is how I would approach these issues.

Homosexuality. Change it slowly, and do it at a state by state level. The overall goal will be agreed that gay marriage needs to be legalized, but more states would need to be accepting of it. Probably would not favor a national law legalizing gay marriage, but would not mind campaigning saying it should be adopted in my particular state and trying to change hearts and minds.

Evolution This is just a matter of current scientific understanding. A conservative should not see anything inherently upsetting about it, unless they are a right-wing Christian or something along those lines.

Global Warming This one is extremely tricky. Because a conservative would want to keep with the slow, gradual change so as not to rock the boat and tip it over. But at the same time if the scientists are right we are in deep trouble if we don't act fast. This one I could see abandoning ideology in favor of real world circumstances, because the future of the planet would depend on it. And as a liberal, I would not cry inconsistent.

That's subjective. You're implying that college had a partisan push to it, which unwilling participants can not see through. I went in to college like most people, very naive, thinking I knew all the answers. What you learn in college is quite the opposite. You don't have all the answers. You do not know more about economics than the experts, you do not know more about science than scientists. You learn that there are real experts out there that do real trials and experiments and that have knowledge far beyond your own.

I don't say I have all the answers, all I say is that people on this forum most certainly do not. There are no experts on this forum. My arguments aren't theories I created myself, they are based on real world application. Unlike people around here who continue to believe they think they know what the Government should be doing. Uneducated people tend to have a inferiority complex with educated people... so they act like you.

Yea, and then they get one rogue scientist out of 10s of thousands that come out in agreement with them and they are immediately placed on a pedestal. It's like they have an agenda against the mainstream intelligent community. They use reverse scientific method in their ideologies. They come to a conclusion and then just pick and choose whatever or whomever plays a part in that conclusion. It's like how much they hate Government spending. But almost all conventional economists explain mathematically why the Government should be spending.

Then you can show them proof that even their beloved Republican heroes did the same exact thing. But all this does not matter... their minds are already made up!!

Oh darling. Appeal to authority much? Scientists are people with all the same limitations as the rest of us.

It's not "one rogue scientist". Physical Anthropologists constantly argue with each other and almost never agree 100% on any given issue. They do experiments yes but then they come up with varying conclusions and they just argue back and forth until the better lawyer-type wins....kind of like on these forums. You are yet to become truly educated.
