    From the news report

    "OCOEE, Fla. -

    There was a chaotic scene at an Ocoee movie theater, after deputies said hundreds of teens stormed the building, trying to get in for free.

    The incident happened Saturday night at the AMC Theater at the West Oaks Mall.

    Investigators said up to 900 middle and high school students tried storming the theater.

    Now I doubt if they were all rushing in to see '50 Shades of Gray'. Where are the parent(s) and what, if anything, can be done about BS like this?

    Since I live about 10 miles from this place, I've got a good guess. The parents were a couple of miles away, at home, watch the NASCAR race. This is a relatively upscale area built in the last 20 yesrs or so as a commuter suburb. There are lots of housing subdivisions and little business in the area. The mall functions as the central meeting place for all of those teenagers that have no where else to go or activities to attend in that area.

    Take a holiday weekend at the local hangout, a couple of thousand bored teenagers exiled from the house while Mom & Dad celebrate the release of 50 Shades of Grey, a sold out movie leaving them no where to go, mix, shake, and call 911.

    how would you feel if a mob of 900 teenagers was charging at you and you didn't have anywhere to run? I wouldn't mind a gun just so I wouldn't get trampled, personally.

    Quit acting like racist idiots. Ocoee is a suburb. Upper middle income, overwhelmingly white. It's the kind of place George Zimmerman would love to protect.

    And yeah, since it happened there it can happen in your neighborhood as well. This is a youth problem, not a black youth problem.

    Odd. All news reports lead one to believe that the mob of marauding teenagers were black. So how is this not a black youth phenomenon and problem?

    And it's impossible for non "upper middle income, overwhelming white" people to travel to "upper middle income, overwhelmingly white" areas, right?
