Smart people see this for what it is. DeSantis is leaning hard on his culture warrior image, and it hasn’t really gotten him much traction in the polls. But he seems to think that there’s some large contingent of Trump supporters that will join his camp if he can convince them that he hates the gay folk more than Trump. And while he may be right that there are a whole lot of gay haters among Trump supporters, he’s not going to get very far with those folks because they are basically infatuated with Trump.

 

Yup. Cleaning the society of the scourge of wokeness has its ugly side. It is necessary, however. I don't believe DeSantis has ever said he was a gay hater. That is an invention.

 

Nahhh, he's still hoping the legal issues take Trump out of the equation. They won't with the hard core radicalized base. He, DeSantis, seems like a one trick pony.

 

He should go full Sarah Palin and start butchering the whales at seaworld live on TV. That'll show the world he means business and is the right man to make all the tough decisions.

 

When you push people sometimes they push back. And why do you guys treat gays and trannies like they're different from people who aren't while saying they're not different only to go on to point out the differences? You guys are putting trannies in their own little special world that's elevated above us peons and expect us to go along with it. Well, we ain't. If you or anyone else wants to be gay or a trannie then just do it without the fanfare, fireworks, special months, flags and colors and just act like normal people. If a guy really thinks he's a girl, then there's no way I should ever know he's actually a guy unless he shoves his defective self in my face.

If Trump wins in 2024 he should appoint DeSantis as his Woke Czar.

He does come across as a very stupid man. Probably the brains behind that outfit is the wife, and she's as tone deaf as her husband if she thinks the woke attacks are a good tactic.

I know conservatives love to hate Bud. But, I doubt that leads to general approval for attacking corporations.

 

FL has plenty of general problems/issues that need to be addressed, and his concentration of petty social issues seems he is spending more time on his Pres ambitions rather than directly addressing all the other infrastructure and commerce issues that have an immediate affect on all his constituents. He is gambling to become Pres instead of being Gov of FL.
