Not saying I agree with any transgender anything, but I have to ask what the harm is in letting a boy use a girls' restroom. What could a boy potentially do or see in a restroom that are not a concern when it's just girls in there? Are there not individual stalls, with doors, in the restroom? Maybe he could poke his head under the door and see a girl using the toilet. Presumably, he would get into trouble for that. Would a girl not get into trouble if she did the same thing?

I obviously understand the problem with the locker room. That's why I think locker rooms should have individual shower and changing stalls. Just make everything essentially like a family locker/changing room or restroom and we can all get over this part of the transgender debate.

 

I would love to have a front seat view to your reaction when it's your daughter going to a school where a boy is going into the girls' restroom. I'm sure you'd have a come-to-Jesus moment.

Maybe you should read my question again. Your response, given the context of my question, makes it look like you think it would not be a problem for a girl to rape another girl in a restroom.

Also, it seems that you think a boy who will ignore a law against rape and attack a girl in a public bathroom is somehow otherwise stopped by a rule/law against entering that bathroom in the first place. Yeah, that makes total sense.

Boys use the boysroom and girls use the girlsroom, what is so difficult? If someone gets harassed in either then the school officials step in. In the meantime the schools officials who said the boy could use the girlsroom should be fired immediately and never have our children put in their trust again.

 

The boy is going to make girls feel uncomfortable and violated. A girl's restroom is for girls only, it's a place where they can eliminate waste without the fear of boys looking at them. It's a courtesy that societies respect all over the world. To impose boys on girls in their place of safety and seclusion is sickening, it's pedophilic. I personally think anyone who's for this might be a pedophile.

The entire problem objectors have to "johnny thinks he's a girl, so he can use the girl's bathroom and anyone who doesn't like that is a bigot" is it opens the door to a kid like this playing the system.

First, we're talking about boys with penises being able to use girl's locker rooms and restrooms. Let's be sure that we understand that
Next, if someone has a penis, and is encouraged to believe they are female, we're talking about a mental health issue, not a biological mistake

now, let's set that aside and let's pretend that we should even consider encouraging these fantasies, you feel that the opposite sex should be disregarded in order to spare the feelings if the confused one

you feel that taxpayers should pay to remodel bathrooms and showers just to accommodate this mentally unstable person

Who are you to be so cavalier with taxpayer dollars? The boy has a perfectly good boys room available to him, use it. If the homeowners who pay property tax are OK wit the expense then go for it; until then, it's not yours to spend.

 

Heres a thought: homeschool the brat. Win win for all. Ok. Maybe his parents both work. Work something out. Thats what kids are about: sacrifices.

Sure, because the kid just has to say that, it's not as if the parents, doctors and psychologists are involved or anything. Seriously, I don't know whether you're being wilfully dishonest or you really don't understand how the real world works.

 

They need to come to terms with who they are psychically not who they feel like at this moment.

No scientific gender test on the planet will change what gender they are. Help them face that reality instead of letting them live in fantasy and forcing everyone else to live their fantasy.

Like I said before, are there not stalls in these restrooms? I understand the concern if we're talking about toilets with no dividers and doors. I've never been in a woman's restroom, do they not have dividers and doors? And I don't see the difference between a boy leering at a girl in a restroom versus a girl leering at another girl in a restroom. I would hope that both would be cause for concern, not just boy/girl.
