This was actually a really informative video. So much misinformation out there to spark up tension. This whole subject is very complicated and interesting but have we actually left Syria? There is still a lot of suspicion about everyone motivations, including Trumps and so on. At the start it did seem very sudden. But I'd recommend this watch. It seems like a great summary of the situation. Did we abandon allies? Is what Turkey is doing acceptable? Were Trumps actions acceptable? What were his actual actions? I just want the actual facts. Either way, I want us out of the ME and Syria. We still have troops there and it very suspicious to me that we left Northern Syria just to allow the Turks to attack. I just think the way the whole thing was executed was just unacceptable and traitorous to our reputation. And I very much think this is our business. Turkey is a NATO ally. What they do is certainly our business. And it is very likely things are going to escalate out of control. The Kurds within Turkey have already been discrimited against for years. So should Turkey be sanctioned? What would sanctions do? Should Turkey be threatened with sanctions or the removal from NATO for violence against a group of people within foreign borders? Will this be another genocide?
He warned the world and thus the Kurds all the way back in 2015 he would pull our troops out of Syria. He did so again in March of 2018. So if they could not prepare for this in the last four years they never were going to be prepared. So no we did not abandon them we gave them time to prepare and then we left.
Get our troops the heck out of the ME. These clowns have been killing each other for thousands of years...If Russian or China want to get involved then let them...
We didn't pull out of Syria though, we allowed Turkey to attack it which might as well be us attacking it as they are our ally. If Turkey were not our ally and we had actually left I'd be on your side, but they are and we haven't left. Hence the major issue here. There's context to this issue. If that's true, then we should probably kick Turkey out of NATO or threaten it to stop attacking foreign nations. Because having an ally involved is not at all going to help our want to get out of this constant ME nonsense. If we shouldn't be involved with the ME, then we shouldn't be allied to either Turkey or the Saudi's.
