The point I was making is that you say something like "I am left-handed" to describe a fact about you. You got really rather butthurt when I pointed out that you saying "I am left-handed" is an identity based on behavior. I think that is why you intentionally missed the point.

Yeah I am right handed too, right eye dominate enjoy shooting sports, a mechanic and a welder. But you don't seem to care about any of that.

You identified yourself as left handed. I didn't assume that is all there is to you. I assumed it means if you right or play guitar you probably use your left hand. So all I am saying when I say that I am gay is if you see me kissing another man it is probably because i am in a relationship with him. Thats it. It is just information about me. Like if I say I am a mechanic. that's an identity based on something about me, not everything about me.

I don't know why saying I am gay is different to you than saying I am a star trek fan or a Texas hold'em player.

I think you're trying to promote it for homosexual people which is promoting lying. I lied to myself for nearly two decades. Yes family is a wonderful thing. I actually have a mother and a father oh my grandparents are dead and I lost my brother a few years ago but I have a sister. I understand the value of that. You don't have to promote that to me.

I even have a godson. I very much love him and his mom and dad.

Doing that with a woman for me it's not in the cards. If I pretended to be straight and will I do a woman and tricked her into wasting her life with me I wouldn't be able to look at myself in the mirror the guilt would eat me alive. I couldn't even go on dates with women without feeling guilty. That door is closed it's not me that closed it if it was up to me I would have been straight.
