Non-combatants should have been evacuated by the nations and organizations that say they care about the welfare of civilians from day one of the war.

The answer has always been a definite "yes". OTOH, most of the virtue signaling phonies who express concern for the welfare of Gazan civilians are strangely silent over the now heavily fortified sealed Egyptian border that has left them trapped in a war zone.

1. Hamas returns all of the hostages.

Interesting to see such criticism considering Israel is by far the most diverse country in the region. Can you point out a thriving population of Jews, Christians, atheists, gay people, non-Muslims, or people critical of religion/government in the region outside Israel?
