    Actually, I feel all sorts of emotions when I hold my guns.

    When they are unloaded, I feel awed that such a little machine works so well! I feel respect for all those that thought about building such a device and how all the metallurgy works to contain small explosions and propel such a small copper object at over 900 mph in less than 1/2 a second....

    When it is loaded, I feel actually kind of scared of my guns. When I go to the range, my shots are often on the bottom left hand side of the targets, which means that I'm anticipating the gun's recoil too much.

    When I hold my Ak-47, I feel alot of respect for such a weapon that gives a voice to so many people. It reminds me how much of hypocrites we are as a nation when we make it illegal for Iraqi's to have guns....

    And mostly, I feel a great responsibility. A responsibility to make sure I make smart decisions with my guns.

    In short, I feel a mix of emotions.

    I don't need my guns to make me feel like a real man. I already am one.

    Do you have a legitimate argument to use? Or do you wish to ignore the obvious and construct a strawman for your amusement?

    my ak47 hahahahahaaaaaa. that just sums up in a heartbeat the complete lunacy of america's gun laws, though obviously I wouldnt say it to your face, cause youve got an ak47.

    Gun ownership, at least in America, is mostly a childish thing...there are some reasonable, mature adults who own guns for target practice and nothing else, but for every one of those there are 10 idiots who think they are John Wayne and need their guns to prevent the gubberment from attacking them.

    I think in some cases it is true... but, my grandmother could shoot the eye out of a gnat at 200 yards.. and it wasn't a sexual prowess issue for her.

    about what ? the difference between an ak and other automatics ? its irrelevant youre just a gun freak misunderstanding my point, all automatics should never be available to any member of the public for any reason, so the difference is irrelevant no youve just got a hardon for guns probably cause they give you an actual hardon

    Nonsense.. Do you see why the issue is so ridiculous?

    Target practice is for proficiency....... for mastery..

    And, there are those who should carry a gun and those who should keep a gun in their homes.

    Why do people play pool? Poker? Go Bowling...

    It is recreational. I don't smoke pot or use other drugs, I don't drink often, I don't party and I don't bother hanging out anyone.

    I don't see why you care. Tell ya what. If I see you in trouble I will ask the people not to bother you. If they rape or kill you, break into your home and rob you, rape your wife and children I will call the cops for you.

    I wont worry about me and my home because I can shoot back and I do not miss.
