Do you support reparations for blacks?

They got 400,000 acres like the black professor says. The land can't be "given back" or "returned" if they "got no acres" to return. So full of shiite and too dishonest to admit it.

 

The difference is that when we throw money at roads, bridges, and many other things, they are improved, restored, strengthened, etc. There is fairness and universal need for such governmental activities, but how does it help anything to simply throw money at minorities because they were wronged many years ago?

Like I said before, many of us of all colors and backgrounds were wronged all through history in different ways by others. I can't think of a single civilization that didn't practice slavery at one time or another, but today, except for Africa, parts of the Middle East, and a very few others, slavery isn't practiced anywhere.

In the United States, slavery ended forever in 1865. Today, 158 years later, what logical reason can there possibly be for paying Blacks "reparations"? To correct the remaining injustices afterward, we made the Civil Rights Act of 1964 the law of the land, and we set up a number of "preference" programs for Blacks which still exist to this day. What else are we supposed to do? Throw money at them?

The original slave owners received the acres back. The former slaves had it taken away. You just agreed. Wtf?

 

As I've posted elsewhere, the government taxes you additionally $250, takes $50 for administrative costs, and gives you back $200, and pats themselves on the back.

An observation like that is so specious and transparent. All people, of all colors and backgrounds, are residents of planet Earth, so, you're saying that because someone has the same SKIN COLOR as someone else that there is some justification for implied guilt? That is nothing but nonsense!

You're saying that if you have the same SKIN COLOR as someone who committed injustices many, many years ago that the guilt is somehow shared with people today, many generations later? Nazis used that kind of logic to condemn all European Jews because of the supposed activities of a few Jews active in banking and financial circles in the 1920's. This was bullshit then just as this "reparations" scam is bullshit today!

To any American of any race or ethnic background I would suggest they get a job, go to work, achieve success, and stop bitching about things that happened over 150 years ago.
