Doctor accused of genital mutilation on girls

FGM is now being performed in the US. A Detroit area doctor of Indian descent and a graduate of Johns Hopkins was caught after two young girls from Minnesota reported to authorities their clits were removed. So there you have it. Will the feminists now condemn such a vile act now that is being performed on our shores.

It's always amazing when people think that something just popped up without knowing American history.

 

Why would feminists condone this act? That makes literally no sense.

 

It's illegal. So no, they haven't been performing the procedure for the past 125 years.

 

They have been mostly silent on the issue since it doesn't affect them. Well that and it's a Muslim thing. I'm curious if they will take a stand now that it's happening on US soil.

 

I said this was horrible and I condemned it in my first post. I gave another far more extensive example of religious abuse as well. We must guard against these religious abuses and condemn them loudly. Religious abuse by anyone....especially toward children is wrong. Do you disagree with this?

Because this kind of thing isn't prevalent in Christian culture, but considered acceptable, and encouraged at times in others...like Islam. Why would anyone bring the Bible into this as another poster did, other than try the ole pretend all religions in the same basket?
