But..... the Dems sure seem to be attempting something similar to what the Bolsheviks attempted to do back in 1917...... enforce Atheism........ but they are using the excuse of separation of church and state in a manner that is so absolute and so dogmatic........ that it amounts to the same thing as what the Communists tried to do for seventy years in Russia..... and China...... and much of eastern Europe.
I'm not a Dem and I would stand against them trying to some how restrict of ban the PRIVATE practice of religion, I don't really see that. What I do see is some Republicans trying to inject Christianity into matters of government or under a government control. That should be separate. We should NEVER allow the mingling of the power of government with the power of religion, do you agree? I mean it's great if it is YOUR religion, but we have freedom of our conscious and moral beliefs and which if any system of those beliefs we choose. Government does not need the injection of religion to carry out it's proper functions. Religious establishments are free to do so ON THEIR OWN.
Actually... I personally am Hebraic Roots Universalist Christian Mystic and the religion of the G.O.P. is very different from my variation on universalism but........ the Republican National Convention was a breath of fresh air in comparison to the dogmatic and absolutist Atheistic visions that the Dems are putting out there. Of course... .painting Trump as somebody who is using religion to get re-elected is a logical course of action for the Dems...... but it will backfire on them....... because Americans are seeing how they are stirring up trouble simply to win an election and even prevent Trump supporters from voting. Watch how they will attempt to use ANTIFA and other groups to attempt to block people from freely making it to the polls!
Frankly... that was a wise move on his part...... a huge percentage of people who tend to vote Democratic are deeply religious ...... Many of them might somewhat resonate with a proposal that I put out there for my fellow Canadians.... Would a Basic Minimum Income dramatically reduce abortions?
I am aware of and known what is written on paper in this regard. But ... is that also the practice? In my opinion no, because any candidate who openly says he is an atheist or not a Christian and does not say "God bless America" often enough can throw his candidacy in the trash can! isn't it?
I just measure him against Trump. If you use that as your litmus test, literally ANYONE would have be "the best" after that 4 year nightmare.
yeah because historic ME peace, defeating Obama's ISIS buddies, no new wars, a relatively peaceful time, record low unemployment, a booming economy, projection of strength throughout the world, America First policies and many, many other accomplishments; all the while having the Deep State nipping at your heels is just anti-thesis to the Left's agenda. You have to be so glad the Deep State coup finally succeeded by stealing his landside victory.
