I'm not doing your leg work for you. The OP made a claim, you agree with that claim, now you support that claim. That's how "debate" works.

So what conversations about periods should teachers be having with students anyway? Last I checked, my wife was most qualified to talk about that with my daughter and she has. And I am most qualified to talk about sex with my son. NOT A TEACHER I DONT REALLY KNOW!!!

Post the full context of his explanation, since you're incapable of any other request.

The bill that was nicknamed “don’t say gay” — did any school districts move to restrict books with any gay characters (while allowing books with heterosexuals) or did any districts move to ban discussion of any topics around homosexuality?

I also remember when y’all were screaming it only impacted the very young and now it goes to the twelfth grade.

No. They restricted books that had PORN in them. It would help if you actually read why certain books were banned from schools. I’d post the pictures but the images would be deleted by the mods. Just like watching the faces of the Administrators as parents READ from the books, Leftists didn’t even understand why the books were being targeted.

And yes, discussions about LGBT issues BEHIND PARENTS BACKS is being banned. Now why do you think that is? Do you know how many videos there are of teachers on social media pushing LGBT issues in class that have NOTHING to do with school? It’s the same as if teachers started teaching about Jesus in math class. My kids don’t need a religious lesson in public school and they don’t need to learn about GAY SEX either. I can explain everything they need to know. Because they’re MY kids and besides some basics in the birds and the bees in a legit sex ed class because nf perfectly fine, I’ve got it all covered. And every single parent I know feels the same.

Looking at the link in the OP isn't "homework", it's participating in the thread.

You just know it will refute your supposed point.

I suspect that's a misquote of what they actually said. Or a basic lie. It smacks of LW propaganda/lies.

Can you show where the porn is located in the book “And Tango Makes Three”

If it is too explicit then let me know the page number and I will gladly post it so you don’t have to face the ramifications of the mods.

Or you can retract your statement

How does "working a lot" keep parents from having that 10 minute conversation? The problem with the left is that they don't believe parents should parent and that the state should do it.

The real reason the left is upset is because it defines biological sex, male and female and requires it be taught that way.
If a girl has a period, it's as easy as conveying that it is normal, that it happens to all women and to talk to their parents about the details. Finally, call the parents.

They don't need to discuss sexual intercourse for this situation. I want to know why the left is so eager to discuss sexual intercourse with young children that they would misrepresent and complain about these laws.

No — the issue is that our educators have discovered that parents are not discussing these types of issues with the children and being that it is extremely important needed to be discussed.

So either the child doesn’t have this discussion at all or it is done in an educational setting. While I am sure both of us would rather the parents be involved that isn’t an option so which of the two above would you rather occur?

I answered this on another post.

    Try reading before you post.

“Does this bill prohibit conversations about menstrual cycles ― because we know that typically the age is between 10 and 15 ― so if little girls experience their menstrual cycle in fifth grade or fourth grade, will that prohibit conversations from them since they are in the grade lower than sixth grade?”

. McClain responded that the bill would restrict such conversations
, but later said the goal of the bill is not to punish little girls.'

So you want to tell a child that is going through something that is traumatic to go talk to her absentee parents?

If you cannot imagine how that is likely going to play out then I will simply have to disagree with you.
