Nice try at attempting to present false information.

The concealed carry permit requirement going away in Florida does not in any way shape or form change the fact that anyone holding an FFL that transfers a firearm must perform a federal NCIS background check in accordance with federal law just like all 50 states.

Nothing about the new law did away with background checks required to purchase a gun

Perhaps you are aware that menstrual cycles only happen to girls. So Golem, perhaps it would be wise for parents that are not up to the task, that government start a pre-school enrollment plan where girls at the age of ten could attend so they could be aware of what is happening to their bodies. Keep it apart from the educational aspect so as not to confuse it with the task of "education". We must not use menstruation as a means to open the door for all the "sick" controversial aspects of sex being dumped on children without parental knowledge.

So the poor girl gets no education? Really poor logic, there. Hopefully the 9 year old fearing for her life finds the right YouTube channel; if her backwards parents allow her to find information on the internet.

Parents or guardians that decide to have government raise their children should have a pre-enrolment requirement of a class for girls at the age of ten explaining what will be happening to their bodies and why. It could be done in a way that could relay the potential blessings of motherhood down the road. This would be apart from the education process. Let's don't use menstruation as a gateway topic to force the teaching of alternative sexual lifestyles or gender confusion on children. A similar class for young boys could be available explaining the purpose of erections and ejaculation they will experience apart from the education process.

Did it close the big LOOPHOLE for people who don't pass a background check from buying a gun from a private owner with no background check?
    NO

It's been taught in schools since at least 1975, when I got my "here's what's going on with your body," class, in school. I was 9. There was one girl in our class who had already started at age 8.

The only thing I learned about sex from my mother was when I asked her why it was sticky between my legs. She told me I was tired. Face it; there are oodles of parents unwilling to discuss these things, and it's important for kids to get accurate information.

STDs are increasing every year with approx 50% of the cases teenagers and with certain strains getting more difficult to treat.
Parents that don't believe their kid is having sex or will be having sex for whatever reason isn't going there with STDs and how to prevent them.
Teaching just abstinence in schools keeps kids extremely vulnerable to STDs along with refusing to acknowledge the LGBT population in schools.

Republican agenda for all public schools:

    Only heterosexual couples exist .
    Sex only when married.

Wrong. Some transgender and non-binary kids can have them too.

Challenge: Don't let me mess with your mind!

You think parents that are too irresponsible to talk to girls about their period would be responsible and send them to this "Menstruation School" you are planning? And what happens to girls who get their period before 10?

I got another idea.... let teachers do the job they've been doing for centuries!

Well it's just too bad about parents and if you expect to get accurate unbiased information from government then you'd believe Hunter's laptop is Russian disinformation. This is why those of us the raise our kids up in the way they should go need to separate from Public Education and out tax dollars need to follow the Children.

Problem is, the job they have been doing for centuries has evolved into teaching alternative lifestyles and gender confusion. Parents that are not responsible then.....just declare them "wards of the state" and you, Golem, decide what is best!

Because all it takes to be a “parent” is to procreate - I know procreation should have a minimal standard but unfortunately the shallow end is outstripping the deep end

It changed nothing about the law requiring background checks to buy a gun from an FFL license holder in accordance with the same federal law in all 50 states.

You cannot go in a gun store in the State of Florida and purchase a gun without the background check. It didn't happen before this law and it's not happening after it

A CCW permit didn't require BGCs for private transactions, either.

BTW, it isn't a loophole. The law was never intended to require BGCs for private transactions.

Don't schools have a school nurse anymore? Excellent suggestion for the very small percentage of kids who weren't told about biology at home; the school nurse can surely explain and doubtless better than a teacher.

You’re proof that only a small percentage of kids don’t get info at home? There’d be less unwanted teen pregnancies if they were getting quality info at home.

Our school nurse retired so we put in a request for King Charles to replace her. We figured his experience as a tampon would work for us.

You want children to learn about natural bodily functions “in the gutter”.

Fascinating. That you for expressing your views — I wish every moderate voter could see what you people wish to turn this nation into.

    And what is that.

A nation that doesn't desex their children?

A nation that is too scarred to teach their children about natural bodily function because of religion deserves to fail.
